I'm not too big on wings. At least I hadn't been until very recently. My feeling has always been, yeah wings can be good, but it's so much work for so little pay off. So little meat and so much mess. But I digress.
Lemon Pepper Wet.
I've had lemon pepper wings... a dry rub. So in 'Atlanta' those dudes ordered teryaki wings, but got lemon pepper wet. So they got lemon pepper wings that were then teryaki'd? or is there a lemon pepper sauce? What exactly is lemon pepper wet?

i dunno what WS is. i saw some in ATL but didn't eat there.
i've had lemon pepper chicken from other joints and found it lacking flavor. and plus the combination of lemon and pepper didn't move me. i missed garlic and salt and paprika.

i really prefer smoked wings, they're effin' bangin'. a spot near me does some bangin' ass grilled wings too. and for real, the rotisserie wings from the fresh market are good depending on if they're not overcooked. but i will eat fried wings, battered or not, as well.

Only had hooters once but it was decent.
For me it's 1) T-Mac 2) Hood spot but it's hit or miss 3) Hickory Tavern

Agreed. I've never tried Wingstop but B-Dubs has taken a dive in quality in the past 5-10 years. The food isn't as good and it's more expensive. I'll still go but it's not my 1st choice for wings
Hooters wings are above average. Not the best ever but, I can't complain about them. They have good-ass burgers too.
We have a spot called the WingHouse. http://winghouse.com/ It is a complete and total knockoff of Hooters. The colors are different but they wear almost the exact same outfits and the inside of the restaurants are damn near identical. They got sued by Hooters and won. Basically, you can't trademark cute girls in skimpy gear serving wings.
Anyway, their wings are straight. Better than BW3s these days.

I know people complain about if wings are too small but honestly with wings it's all about the skin to meat ratio, so if you get huge wings, that ratio is smaller and the experience is less delicious.
A place somewhat nearby still has $.35 wing nights on Wednesdays. Works out very well.
Alternative: slow grilled over charcoal with barbecue dry rub and hit with BBQ sauce in the last twenty minutes or so. Different product, also delicious.
