From what's been shown so far, she's squarely in the norm for someone her age. A little weed at a music festival and watching/playing beer pong is more exploring her freedoms than rebelling against her upbringing or father.
In terms of the disrespect her father has received, I look at it as a good lessen on humility as a leader and how to manage your appearance. Obama has been on the receiving end of a lot of disrespect but he hasn't let himself get into the petty posturing. she's partying near the Penn campus. i dunno for sure but i assume she's in those student apartments that surround the campus. i didn't attend Penn but i went to a school like that. some of my classmates came from extraordinarily rich parents. and some of those kids lived in shitty off-campus apartments just like i did. yeah there were some rich kids in high rise apartment towers - but those things had doormen and security and cameras. those ppl couldn't host parties w/underaged drinking and other shenanigans in those joints. but the folks in the shitty places w/o security and doormen and cameras could.
