I'm 31. We are happy about accomplishing things in our early mid level career and she was just happy bc she made cheer leading captain last year. Our friends proposed to their fiancee's last year, and she was proposed to in March....to be someone's prom date.

She had a curfew like a few months ago. A curfew. Like, she had to be inside her house by a certain time.

Her last boyfriend had a lunch pail. And brought an extra lunchable to her less than half a year ago.

She was just discussing how popular someone was earlier this year, and she even smiled hard because the star basketball player said hello to her in the hallway. Ok, maybe that was three years ago, but three years ago, you had the one year anniversary of your 10 year reunion.

Her dad missed Kobe's first all star game because he was at the hospital waiting for her to be delivered.

I mean. Go for it, but it's no way I could do it on my own. I hate dating 25-26 year olds, let alone 18. Shit.

I was 30 at the time. It was so weird even hearing that word. I never had a curfew even at curfew age. She was 3 years out of college getting all panicked about getting home after midnight lol.

What do you have in common with an 18 year old? Granted, she is legal, but she is barely legal. IMO, her brain is still growing and truth be told, she need should not get too serious with anyone, let alone with someone who is well into his adulthood. She needs to get her education on and figure out what she wants to do with her life.

At the end of the day, I think you know that many people would not approve of you dating a "grown child", but it is your life, so do what you gotta do.

Only in the US would a 19 year be considered a child.

But I do think you have to take into consideration maturity level. She could be a mature 19 and you an immature 30s and she could have you nose wide open.

Or she could be very immature and you a mature dude taking advantage of her naivety just to get some drawls.

That would be wrong...but that would be wrong regardless of age.
