If he was trying to get her to have threesomes and do freak shit, that's one thing. But if he & his boys drugged her & assaulted her, that's another level of dirtbag behavior.

They'd been seeing each other and fucking for a while (a few years). He apparently wanted to her to have sex with some of his homeboys. She gets home and passes out. Rose shows up with a couple of friends and spends a half an hour trying to get into her place. He says she let him in and they all had consensual sex. She says they broke in and raped her while she was passed out.

She probably let them in. I was reading some of the transcript and her roommate told her the next day that there were guys there. Roommate doesn't say, 'some guys broke in' or 'I let them in'. Like who wouldn't be suspicious if random men were in the apartment at 1-2am?

BUT she/the claimant was out of it. No matter what happened, be it him and just her or her and all of them, she was in no condition to give consent. Even if the text messages indicated that she wanted to see him.

Just a bad judgement call on him and his crew's behalf but they seem a lil too hood (and uncouth) to understand any better. Like a lot of poorly trained/educated dudes, drunk and wanting it equals easy target. Based on what I've read, if this were a criminal case, he'd probably be facing some type of jail time (and might as Cali law doesn't preclude a DA from prosecuting given there were allegedly multiple people involved making it aggravated rape).

He'll be lucky to get out of this with just paying a settlement.

Last I saw they were looking at a mistrial but if a new trail starts it could very well fall in the middle of the NBA season
