i never been to graceland, so my opinion is based entirely in ignorance, but there is something 'not cool' to me about opening up the man's personal sanctuary to any fat fuck with a copy of the Purple Rain soundtrack and $15. Graceland was Elvis' place to escape the mania of fame and find some kind of peace, now it's a mecca for old middle america shitheads. "Look Gertrude! If you bend your neck far enough you can see the shitter that The King died on!"
Not sure turning Paisley Park into some kind of weird celebrity peep show is gonna be a cool thing. Maybe it was part of Prince's plan, and if so, then cool. If Prince wasn't with it, then this sucks.

I'm sure the setup at Paisley Park will probably be similar. You have to understand that PP was more than just Prince's home, it was a recording studio and and he also used to perform small private concerts there.

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....
People don't realize there are a lot of taxes and attorneys' fees involved in an estate this size. They need to make money somehow until everything is settled.

It's the easiest, fastest money stream.....RIGHT NOW....
>all they got to do is license 3-4 of his jams and theyd be >okay
U dealing with Prince here....The only way to cake off on licensing is to go ALL OUT. Which means, licensing beyond a few TV shows and movies in the past (something Prince did while he was alive) won't cut it. You have to license to Madison avenue (TV ads, commercials...) something Prince frowned upon....
Londell and them won't let that happen....They are more concerned with how they can maximize Prince's catalogue. They want to finally release those reissues....
Paisley Park is just the EAS form of revenue stream at the moment...Won't be enough though....
