D Rose 6 and D Lillard 2's were both good. D Rose 7's and Crazy Explosive's both just came out but are bothsupposed to be very good to play in.

one of the d rose versions. another called crazy light or something. I like both of them, but the d-rose I bought for looks. I'll play in them sometimes, but I'm not a serious hooper by any stretch.

The cushioning is crazy(might be too soft for some), and my feet never hurt even after playing for hours. The traction is great too, it sticks real hard. It's a little bulky and they probably went overboard on the padding around the ankle and tongue so you can't lace quite as tight as normal, but I don't mind that.

The problems with that shoe are they used different materials on the uppers for different color ways. There's a mesh version, a primeknit version, a synthetic leather, a suede. Different uppers give different fits, so you gotta do homework to get the right shoe....and they were hard to find in stores to actually try on.

I kinda noticed that with these. It's not super annoying, but I definitely noticed it.

I don't ball, so I can't speak to the performance aspect. But I'd like to think that cosmetics must matter to SOME degree.

I don't look at those and say to myself: 'damn those look like $hit...but I'll rock em if they feel good.'

And I think the D Rose 7 looks good. But yeah, a lot of their hoop shoes have been ugly. I was never a fan of their bball shoes until recently....the Rose 6's are one of the best I've played in.

And I'm loving that hardly anyone wears bball shoes casually anymore. Makes the prices cheaper for those of us that actually want to buy them to play basketball in.

I think certain color ways could look dope on court. I like those black and gold ones.

Next spring/summer once they get discounted like basically every hoops shoe does now, if the price is low enough I might cop to play in as long as the grips are good.

Even Nike is bad these days but not this bad. Only player sponsored shoes I like right now are Kyrie's, and that's only some colorways. I mostly just like his new logo

Lillard 2, Rose 6, Crazy Explosive, Rose 7s all great hoop shoes to play in.

I never messed with Adidas hoop shoes at all until recently. They've been killing it for the last year.

Nike had a horrible 2015. 2016 has been better.

I get u may play with these shoes but I think u miss the point of what people have a problem with LOL firstly you aren't a professional player, nobody cares how explosive your shoes are in a men's league or beer league bruh. That's awesome that they are great performance wise. Adidas comfort has stepped up tremendously with he boost shit. We are talking straight design and look. And Adidas sucks at it. Their lifestyle or running shoes have gotten better since they started copying nikes shoes. Yeezys just put out his own version of the Nike Frees with an organe streak across it LOL

And no you don't have to be a pro to want to wear shit that fits your foot, is stable and doesn't roll and tip, grips the court, and doesn't murder your knees and feet. I'm not trying to roll an ankle, have sore knees, or to slip around the court.

All these new hoops sneakers look stupid off the court, IMO. Hardly anybody is buying them for that, so these companies arent making them for that either. Some of the Kobe 11's are the only exception in my opinion, and maybe the original colorway of the Lillards.

Some of the flyknit elite version colorways look great. And the engineered mesh version on court....Kyrie's just aren't messing with that.
