Best I can do recently is the other day I finally got around to selling an aboveground pool ladder that was in my shed when we bought the house for 20 bucks on Craigslist. And tomorrow I'm gonna spend half an hour for 75 bucks doing a product research study thing Haha

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*
They went on sale June 18th. Tickets through 1/17 are nearly gone. The show starts in September. Because our tickets are for December and there are a few ticket$ available for our dates and we will hold until those are gone.
This is first time I've ever participated in anything likes....I still dont understand why I was the only person I knew who was able to buy tickets.

do you purchase tickets for games in your city or tickets to any game in the country and just flip them on stubhub?

Unless you got something that's going well over double what you paid.
I buy tickets for Denver shows here and there and mostly turn them around on Craigslist.
This other ticket broker (altitude tickets) has a resale option where they only take 10% so that's also a good option.
Edit: you have to be careful you know what you're buying though, I guess. Buddy of mine bought a bunch of Adele tickets and then apparently you had to have the original purchasing credit card to get in, so he got stuck with them. I dunno how that works though and never had that problem myself. I mean what if you buy tickets as a gift?

Have lots of junk.
Estate sales are better because most people don't sell their stuff of value for less than its worth, but dead people (or really their heirs) tend to be less discriminating.
It really all depends on the auction company, the estates any given sale, and the crowd.
One spot I go I can usually tell within ten minutes, based on the crowd, if there will be good deals.
And being able to get something for $40 that you can turn around for $1k+ is not the norm at all. If it was I wouldn't be working a 9-5.
Seek out some auctioneers in your area, swing by some Saturday morning and take a look.
