dumb statement, you never know what people are dealing with or going through. It may have taken all they have to give us the beauty that they already have. Or maybe that just isn't what they want. Just be grateful. They haven't hoarded their talent (especially Dre) they've given us plenty.

In this case I agree with you. If it's a mental health situation or other personal issues then by all means they owe none of us anything. But if it is a strategy to create a certain 'mystique' then it is wack to me.

He acted like he didn't want to be there and was doing everyone a favor in showing up - especially at the Atlanta dates. He sidesteps rap or putting out any material, but drops a half assed verse now and then to keep his name in the conversation and tease us with hopes of an Outkast project. I understand that maybe unlike other members of the Dungeon (with the exception of maybe Big and Cee-Lo), Dre doesn't *need* to rap to support himself - but at this point, acting above it all has worn thin.

I wholeheartedly agree. if your catalog over 15 years is only 2 albums then you are not in the category of Marvin, Stevie, Michael, Prince, etc....
Im sayin yeah you do good music but as far as "genius" level you not there yet....

I never really thought about that before and it resonated with me. I'll admit it is a tad bit selfish as a fan to want more from an artist who essentially owes me nothing but I'm just not going to label you a genius when we have seen REAL genius works that span decades.

They put on a good show. But if Andre never drops another record again I can honestly say I wouldn't care. Im cool.
He gave us some dope verses so it's whatever.
Also I went to the one music fest last summer It was cool but that's alot of music to take in Over the span of one day. And then watching lauryn hills Set and seeing alot of ppl leave during the set was kinda sad

I STILL watch them both...but that shxt is bad. I keep waiting to see if either of them can dig deep enough into a role that I can stop seeing their other persona.

Dre came close, playing a father on 'American Crime' but I couldn't NOT see him as A3K.
They have kinda 'aged out' of the game and are clearly focused on artistic growth in other areas, but I have a tough time watching them on-screen. I won't give up tho'....and clearly neither will either of THEM HAHAHAHAH

problems in that movie, namely...a Jimi Hendrix movie that couldn't use Jimi Hendrix's music and chose to focus on his relationship with three different side-pieces/groupies/girlfriends during the year before he blew up...had zero to do with Three Stacks who really pulled off the acting performance I didn't think he'd be able to do.

the energy was high pretty much the whole set.
as for the whole festival, I missed folks I really wanted to see like anderson paak. we got there when he set was going, but we watched jazmine sullivan. she's dope.
also missed badu cuz I wanted to make sure we have a spot for df.
oh and busta rhymez was fuckin terrible. cube was dope tho.
