Is Trump some sort of leak in the dam? Are we gonna see more politicians go this route in the next cycle? This shit is so unprecedented. The people who insisted it would never happen are now trying to undersell it's significance. There was an over-night normalization. And it's fucking scary because his racism and xenophobia is getting normalized along with it. There's a desensitivity that is quelling our collective outrage. We're TIRED of being outraged.

I don't think his persona will reflect a growing trend. I think he's a one-off. This won't work for anyone else the way it works for him. I'm sure there's some low-level repugs that are thinking 'i gotta change my whole approach to this'....and Trump will probably be the first Twitter president. But I don't think his 'act' can be pulled off by anyone else. The wrestling-inspired rants....the kanye west inspired tweets....I don't fear that this spreads. I do fear that he will become president though.

I want to believe this is a one off but it's not.

I's all about conspiracies so feel me on this one.

Once Obama won the nomination I think the overlords were still uneasy about America voting him into office so what do they do? They have McCain introduce the world to Sarah Palin.

SARAH PALIN Bruh.. how the fuck?

and now that we have Hillary who people really don't like they give us Donald Trump. The male version of Palin. Sure he won the nomination but the free coverage he received for saying dumb shit is a head scratcher.

Next time it will be Snooky or Caitlyn Jenner.

but here is what you will also see. The house and Senate will stay with the GOP and we won't get ANY progress in Washington. Same old shit, just different figure heads.

The past couple weeks haven't looked good for him. I mean....he hasn't looked good to me in ANY week....but I'm talking about what I perceive the public opinion to be. Hillary's team have made some really good adjustments. That speech she gave was well-planned. Her team is showing signs of awareness of the various traps that you can fall into with Trump. I'm less certain that he will beat her than i was two weeks ago.

It's all good Denny....The thing is u were judging the Trump surge on two aspects: His rising poll numbers against OTHER REPUBLICANS, and him gaining close in the polls on H. Clinton....

But there has always been overwhelming problems going by those two factors...

The GOP base thinks Obama wasn't born in America. They also view Republicans as full of shit after promising them the death of Obamacare along with a list of "issues"....So they ran to Trump on some, "Trump can't be any worse than those other assholes...Plus he's not afraid to put those Mexicans, blacks, and Muslims in their place!"

As for Trump gaining in the polls before his recent drop off, as I told u before, his boost came when the remaining Republican field dropped out. It happens all the time in every Presidential race. U get that bump....

H. Clinton has her own share of real issues, but it will basically take ol' girl being indicted over that email bullshit (not gonna happen) or a self implosion nasty meltdown to hand over the election to Trump, who at the moment is struggling to fundraise because few want to be associated with a misogynistic, racist dickhead....

The national electoral map is tailor made for Clinton and the Dems...Anything can happen. But as of right now Trump is being Trump, which is not good news for the GOP...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

"But it’s worth noting, to the unfamiliar, that “Delete your account” was not a sudden turn of phrase by a coldblooded social media manager, let alone the candidate herself. The three-word phrase has a long history as a dismissive rejoinder, especially on Twitter."

Mind u, The Dems have not even started on Trump....And Bernie, while he is bowing out, has yet to put 100 percent of his support behind the alleged most hated woman in the world...lol...She's holding steady with that lead while Trump keeps sinking...And that inevitable bounce which comes with a party unifying has yet to come....

Yeah, there are idiots and racists who will go with Trump...But as of right now, Trump personifies a perfect (shit) storm that may be too much for the GOP to carry to a very diverse electorate....I get why the GOP, Trump fans and even some of the Bernie Bros are crashing, hoping and wishing for a Clinton indictment....This could get ugly fast....

Clinton leads Trump by 11 points in White House race: Reuters/Ipsos poll

BY CHRIS KAHN

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 11 points in the U.S. presidential race, showing little change after she became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee this week, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.

The online poll, conducted from Monday to Friday, shows 46 percent of likely voters support Clinton while 34.8 percent back Trump. Another 19.2 percent support neither candidate. Their parties hold conventions in July ahead of a Nov. 8 election.

Clinton's lead was nearly the same a week ago, before she had amassed enough convention delegates to win the nomination and before Trump drew criticism from leaders of both parties for questioning the impartiality of a Mexican-American judge.

Trump, 69, enjoyed a bigger boost after becoming the presumptive Republican nominee in May. Having trailed Clinton, 68, for most of the year, Trump briefly erased a double-digit gap and pulled about even with the former secretary of state.

Clinton this week defeated party rival Bernie Sanders, 74, in four of six nominating contests, most notably California and New Jersey, and won the endorsements of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and other party leaders.

Trump this week sparred with party leaders and struggled with questions about his now-defunct Trump University. A lawsuit accuses Trump and the for-profit school of defrauding thousands of people, including many who paid as much as $35,000 to learn Trump's real estate strategies.

A wealthy businessman who asserts the lawsuit is politically motivated, Trump said presiding U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel was biased against him because of Trump's plans to build a wall on the border with Mexico. Trump later added that Muslim judges could be biased against him also because of his pledge to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the country.

Trump's comments drew sharp criticism from Republican leaders, including House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Trump later said he would no longer talk about the judge.

Friday's results had 1,276 respondents and a credibility interval, a measure of accuracy, of 3.2 percentage points.
