-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I'm not sure if this is in relationship to Bernie or to Trump but either way, duh. Obama is more closely aligned with Hillary than any of the other candidates - mildly progressive on social issues and not about to put his neck out to cut off corporate money.

So yeah, sure. I get it.

There is ZERO chance her campaign does this in a Trump-less environment.

She can't go the Rubio route and stoop ALL the way down to Trump's level. He'll win down there. But she does need to show a little punch-back with wit. Obviously, when i say 'she' I'm talking about her PR people.

Obama is a good guide in that regard. The way he went back at Clint Eastwood's chair thing with this:

http://mashable.com/2012/08/31/invisible-chair-obama-respond/#q.jAqW6WTiqW

She can still be the adult in the room while doing that.

Speaking of which...has anyone else noticed that Clinton has kinda adopted Obama's cadence in public speaking? I've noticed it several times in the past few months. I can try to find specific examples. But it's this 'matter of fact' kinda tone and a de-emphasis on the last words of a sentence. Also...the speed of the words at the beginning of the sentence will start out deliberate and slow and over-pronounced....then transitions near the end to a quicker and quieter and under-pronounced tone. Anyone?

this year, huh?

Yeah man, they brunch together once a month AT LEAST.

Kids call her Auntie Hills and they have an epic Words With Friends tournament going on.

A lot of folks don't understand "fall in line" party politics, huh?

I get for those who think Obama has been a saint, its a lot easier to say to yourself "he genuinely loves this 'progressive' woman" than look at things the way they are.

The entire party endorsed her 8 years ago.

Obama stole her turn. Once in a life-time candidate.

That was NOT going to happen again.

And I'm not talking about Bernie, because I'm not too impressed with him either.

But the Dems ran NO ONE with a deleted State Department email's chance in hell of winning.

You really think Obama, or any Democrat without political risk of doing so, won't come out and endorse the front runner????

Same sh!t is happehing on the other side. You think those dweebs are excited about the Donald for f*cks sake??

This is the time folks start falling in line and getting behind their person.

The parties OWN these people. OWN them.

It was only a matter of time before Obama did this, I'm not surprised. I am a little let down by how thick he laid it on, but he has always been a politician first.

I definitely think it's a genuine endorsement but he's also protecting his own work too.

preserve the white house and incidentally obama's policies. (they're both governing centrists)

you saw what happened to gore in 2000 and his "i'm my own man" steez when he said thanks but no thanks to slick willie campaigning for him.

no snark. in what ways would he be selling himself short, or playing ball?

it's pretty much been an open secret through the primary that she's his preferred choice, and the one he feels is most likely to continue on his path

I think there was a little beef left over from 2008.

She did some underhanded shit to him, and now the only scandal of his presidency may be tied to her time there.

but they are teflon. We got a black guy and a woman as Presidents, that progressive enough for most.

got caught up in the Bernie bro thing.

Not everyone unhappy with Clinton is a Bernie Bro.

Not every critique of Clinton and the process has been a result of Bernie bro angst.

Not every complaint is a "Clinton = Nixon" type conspiracy theory.

Me, for instance?

I'm not excited about her at all. At all.

I don't think folks are thinking about her entire history, or even the campaign she ran in '08. Maybe its easier NOT to do that, I don't know.

I am also disgusted that she was crowned by the party so early. They ran O'Mally!!! hahaha That was her biggest competition from within the party. F*cking O'Mally.

I imagine some suggested not even holding a primary.

And I think the Dems are going to struggle to get turnout, and risk a lot of sh!t by running a candidate that is very hated.

Yes Murph, she is hated. Not just by Bernie Bros or Fox News. She is not liked.

In this case, maybe the "first woman" and the "not Trump" will be enough to avoid '04.

If '04 does happen, I am going to be pretty fed up hearing folks blame the mysterious boogie man "Bernie bro" or whatever...if Hil and the Democrat overlords can't get people excited to vote....if they can't tap in to some enthusiasm Bernie has built....if they haven't learned 'Muricans need a reason to vote other than the Supreme Court...and Trump pulls off something crazy...they better look in the mirror and at no one else.

And folks like you better get upset with the party rather than people who didn't find a reason to vote for Hilary.

As far as the endorsements coming, since you are so pragmatic and realistic, you know this is a party thing right? I'm not saying sell out, but it is what it is.

This is employees doing what the company says. Here come the good soldiers...

Assuming you know more than the person you are talking to. Can't entertain the possibility that folks have thought about it, and just have a different opinion. SMH.

No...u don't get it...I'm NOT equating people not backing Hillary Clinton with being a Bernie Bros. I've never made such a suggestion...Ever....

I'm talking about the Bernie folks who are breathing hot fire at Warren right now...Saying FUCK U, U DIDN'T SUPPORT BERNIE WHEN HE NEEDED U...U R A SELLOUT!!!!! That's some over the top shit in my opinion...lol

So no, I'm NOT saying all Bernie heads are on that shit...Because they are not. I know some Bernie heads who are voting for Clinton because they don't want to see a lunatic, racist, misogynistic businessman in office...And I know some Bernie folks who were never Dems to begin with and who will vote the Green candidate. I have no beef with these folks...

I'm talking about his most fervent supporters who equate not supporting Bernie with being a sellout....

Sanders surrogate blasts Warren: 'You don't get brownie points from me'

By Harper Neidig

A top surrogate for Bernie Sanders is lashing out at Sen. Elizabeth Warren after her endorsement of Hillary Clinton, saying the Massachusetts Democrat hasn't done enough for progressives.

During a radio interview on SiriusXM’s “Steele and Unger,” former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner said she was not impressed with Warren’s social media attacks against Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump.

“It’s easy for Democrats to attack Mr. Trump,” Turner said. “You don’t get any brownie points from me and other progressives for getting into a Twitter war with Mr. Donald Trump. That’s easy.

“But when the fight was hard for Sen. Bernie Sanders, where was Sen. Warren?”

Warren announced her endorsement for Clinton on Thursday night, just days after the former secretary of State became the Democratic presumptive nominee.

As one of the top progressive lawmakers in the Democratic Party, some Sanders supporters believe that Warren should have backed the Vermont senator.

“They’re gonna attack me for saying this, but I’m a truth-teller at this point,” Turner added.

she's served multiple terms as a Sen. she was an active first lady, who was privy to real wh ish for 2 terms.

she was a secretary of state, and a former candidate.

that's a shit ton of objective qualifications.

so from that perspective, he's absolutely right.

now, 'most qualified' != best candidate or best choice. so he not shitting on his own legacy and tenure.
