i myself would never want to be god,or even like god.Because god got all these human beings on this planet and i most certainly would not want to be responsible for them, or even have the disgrace that i made them.

His life was legendary.

His athleticism was only surpassed by his remarkable grasp of humanity, his and that gift within others.

His presence will truly be missed.

.....no discussion....Ali = GOAT...

He mattered....More than boxing...More than sports...He mattered to the world.... to humanity....

In this just-add-water world now where we are forced to tolerate or root for the over-inflated likes of Floyd Maywather, Muhammad Ali, the man, truly stands as a larger-than-life change agent who did more than just fill up his bank account.

Ali cared about the world around him. And did his best to ensure that men and women of color could live in a world of equality.....He had the biggest mouth, but he backed it up and more ways than one. He had his title stolen away. Didn't matter. He would keep winning. He was OUR Superman......

Rest In Power, Champ. U were truly LOVED.....

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Glad i got to see you fight on TV when i was little.

Even though my dad always called you Cassius, i never called you that. You were always Ali. The Greatest of All Time.

Thank you for standing up to the system when you did. Even though you lost your prime boxing years, we all gained from your sacrifice. I just watched a video of your daughter explaining how the son of a kkk member came up to you in a restaurant and told you that because of you, he knew blacks weren't inferior like he dad had always taught him. You had that level of impact on the world.

You were fearless in the face of racism and never backed down and i thank you for your courage.

God bless your life and your well deserved rest.

RIP GOAT

Besides being arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time, his actions outside of the ring are what made him the great man that is revered throughout the world. From the time when he threw his Olympic gold medal into the Ohio river for being refused service at a local restaurant because of his race, to his refusal to be sworn into the US military due to his beliefs (costing him three years in the prime of his career and an untold fortune) to his benevolence with his time, money and voice post retirement, very few have proclaimed themselves "The Greatest" and actually lived up to the claim. A man that truly "shook up the world"...

RIP Brother, and thank you.

When I was 14 my pops overheard some rap lyrics coming out of my speakers that he didn't like. He took my tapes away and gave me Malcolm X's autobiography. I was told that I would get my tapes back after I finished the book and wrote him a report about it. That book was my first introduction to Ali and lead me to reading more books specifically about his life. Him and Malcolm became a huge part of my teenage years. That may sound weird cause I'm white but it's true. I felt that both of their life stories went beyond race. There is a purity and innocence in both their stories that I was drawn to....and both helped to form my own identity growing up.

It's on CNN not sure about other networks, but it feels pretty significant.

Make me see how special he was to US culture.
