"DJ R-Tistic Presents: "90 to 99" - A mix for every year in the 90's"
After probably 300 hours of work.......it's all complete.
I asked y'all for assistance a year ago, regarding songs from 1990-1992...so that helped out a whole, whole, whole lot. It was songs I had never heard before, and some that I hadn't heard since then. So much appreciated!

So by 94, that's all I was about. Recording all the mix shows, staying up late watching countdowns, Yo MTV Raps, Rap City, Power and The Beat in L.A., The Box, and the magazines. I didn't listen to a lot of the "Boom Bap" sounding music as much until maybe 99-2000, but I remembered it all.

year was changing sooooo much, so fast.
99 has a boatload of Down South music...I don't even think I realized it til two weeks ago, like damn, they were really showing how dominant they were about to be. Yet, we still got songs like "Ms. Fat Booty" to be HUGE hits...and it was actually a lot of East Coast and even L.A. underground that was pretty big at the time, and sounded nothing like the South/No Limit or the Jiggy thing.
And I also realized the Jiggy thing was VERY short...by 99, barely anything sounded like that, with the bells and all. 97-98 had a good amount of Jiggy, then by 99, the Ruff Ryders, Rockwilder, Jay-Z, Mob Deep, Mos Def types all had a completely different sound pumping out the East.
