"Poll question: Have you ever purchased condoms online?" Wed May-11-16 12:51 PM by dapitts08
I am about to design a website for a client who is introducing a new condom line and I am curious how often folks buy their condoms online. I never really thought about it and figured most people just cop them at the drug store.
Your few seconds of participation is greatly appreciated.
Also feel free to comment with any insights you would like to share about your condom purchasing behavior lol sharing is caring

then again, if I was 15 I may be afraid my parents would open it.
but not sure why anyone over 18 would by them online unless they were much cheaper.
I would need the website to sell me on them being better than Trojans.
**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

the teenager who wants to buy them online because of the secrecy factor
>I would need the website to sell me on them being better than >Trojans.
yeah...i am wondering how it will play out for the brand loyalists
one of the things about this brand is that a significant amount of the proceeds will go to testicular cancer research..so we will bring a spotlight on that angle as a differentiator
i am also looking to design a much more modern design than that of trojan
some of the design inspiration that i will be using:
the key to happiness is not being rich; it's doing something arduous and creating something of value and then being able to reflect on the fruits of your labor

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

that was still open...didn't have a car back then.
Never made that mistake twice.

but i am thinking more married folks or those getting it in regular fall outside of that category and would be our target market
that just gave me an idea to see ask my client if he wants to integrate some kind of automated delivery shipping option....like you sign up for a subscription and you receive a box automatically with whatever frequency you choose

'cause when I was single I kept mad condoms around the crib. I wrote about it here in the past, but I would buy several boxes and stash condoms between couch cushions, my livingroom chair cushion, cabinets in the kitchen, bathroom, under my recording mixer and turntables, and everywhere I could think of in my bedroom.
If I was low on dough, I'd roll over to campus and grab a handful from the health clinic.
If I ever found myself single again I would do the exact same shit. You gotta stay prepared.

so the speed of delivery is most important? what is the longest you would wait? i know you said a week is too long... is 2-3 days your sweet spot?

23. "If it's something I can go and buy at any store" In response to Reply # 20
I MIGHT buy it on Amazon if I'm really lazy but can get it in 1 or 2 days. More than that I might as well just go to the store. You gotta really convince me that these condoms are worth buying online and waiting for rather than just getting whats at the store. Plus condoms are usually something you buy at the last minute because you're out and you need some now, not something you think of ahead of time and just stock up on.

I use lambskins with my girl and them shits are expensive. So I cop the 10 pack from amazon prime. We only really use condoms when she's ovulating or her cycle is on so a 10 pack will last us a minute.
A pack of 3 at Rite Aid is like $15 or something crazy.
21. "awesome...thanks for the feedback..." In response to Reply # 16
so price is the main factor for you.
would you be open to trying a new brand at a similar price point? or would the price point need to be significantly lower for you to consider a switch? would the fact that a percentage of the sales goes to cancer research increase your likelihood to give a new brand a try?

I would go to websites that would send samples for signing up. My mom thought they were CD's or computer parts I had ordered, and it never cost me anything.
18. "ha...hadn't thought about that..." In response to Reply # 17
i am going to ask my client if he is interested in offering free samples to help entice brand loyalists to give his brand a try...thanks
