it would be a shame if there is a link

because his pseudo science claims would have set the cause back 15 years

also, as in the UK and Orange County

when people stop vaccinating

= outbreaks and death

if this documentary exposes sound science

cool, let me know

but I would expect the research has been done

you don't start a study with models that already express the desired result

I didn't even shoot down the idea that there is a connection

I'm shooting down his BS study, that by the way, ended up causing deaths

I'm going to assume if there was some aha moment in this doc, he wouldn't have been included

carry on

and no, what you're describing is observation

observation is where one might start, and form a thesis

but observation is not scientific proof of the cause of the observation

if autism is caused by vaccines, why is it more prevalent in males?

There are some herbs that are advisable for women to take and not advisable for men and vice versa. Some toxins effect males differently than they affect females. That's just how nature is sometimes.

tend to have much, much, much lower rates of autism and they overwhelmingly, do not vaccinate.

Why is that? Are we still supposed to believe that there is ABSOLUTELY no connection between vaccines and autism?

and how there's a significant part of the population who, in the absence of religion, have undertaken a new faith-based system of beliefs that are often presented in the guise of science.

There's crossover between anti-vaxxers.....pseudo-physics like 'quantum mystics'.....organic food advocates.....all that type of stuff. There's a rise of a sort of hippy-dippy spiritualism that connects all these issues. In the west...I fear this phenomenon is more threatening to progress than organized religion.

I can't accuse Bernie of being antivax, thankfully, though he does support organic farming and actually cosponsored a bill for GMO labeling. But his movement is suffused with precisely the kind of "hippy-dippy spiritualism" that you're describing.

I noticed that Bernie supported organic foods. I think there were a couple other issues like this that I disagreed with him on.....but he certainly did not make them a huge part of his platform and I think his policies on wealth redistribution address the most important issue in American politics. Judging from the time he allots to those fringe issues....I think it's clear that he agrees.

And yes...I'm aware that there is a stereotypical Bernie Bro archetype that is also vulnerable to this pseudo-science stuff. One doesnt' HAVE to hold those views to support Sanders cause again, the wealth redistribution (in all forms....education, healthcare, social safety-net) outweighs everything else by a large margin.

the Bernie people i know who were all about Ron Paul 4 years ago tend to be more open to anti-vaxxer stuff. they're pretty much my friends who will instinctively latch on to any kind of anti-establishment or contrary to the 'official story' narrative.

the girl i know who goes hardest on vaccines, was for Bernie but now she says she'll vote Trump because he made some kind of anti-vax comment during one of the debates. So she says he's the only one who has any understanding of the issue lol. She also can't ever say Jerry Brown's name without adding (AKA HITLER). She's a psycho

I mean, it's lovely to see everyone in here acting as guardians of reason, facts, and science. Seriously, it is. In the past, we've generally had a lot more people taking Rook's side on these kinds of issues.

But at the same time, of all these people in here fighting the good fight, the majority have been vehemently supporting a presidential candidate who once publicly wrote that people get cancer because they're not sexually liberated enough.

i think most of us who have supported bernie, its because the social issues he brings up are important to us
now, you might gripe with the fact that he's not advanced on the science (or you'd say is misinformed), and thats fine
but until we have that presidential debate that addresses major science qns (http://www.sciencedebate.org/)
im okay with knowing he wouldn't do something as foolish as seek to deregulate the epa and fda (and limit funding for science in general)

but dont act like an appreciation for science and bernie sanders platform are mutually exclusive.

But one of the infuriating things about the Sanders movement is that people treat him as being more honest, more genuine, and more "pure" than other politicians, when in fact his career has been built on careful manipulation of interest groups (you might even say, "special interests") just like any other politician. And the will of those interest groups, as reflected in his stated policy positions for this very campaign, are not all in the best interests for the country or the world, as it appears most of the people in this thread would agree.

Though it's obviously a bit of a postjack, I'm taking this opportunity to remind people that nobody gets a perfect candidate. We've seen people in OKP pretend it's a disqualifying sin that Hillary Clinton only proposes to raise the federal minimum wage by 66%, instead of by 107%; or that her plan for regulating the financial industry, though overall more comprehensive and more relevant to the actual crises of today, doesn't come along with unfulfillable promises of putting bankers in jail and splitting up banks whether or not they pose risks to the economy.

There really are imperfections in Hillary Clinton's platform. But there are imperfections in Bernie's platform as well, and I wish people were more willing to admit them. It's not fundamentally that Bernie tried, decades ago, to sell his "hippy dippy" friends a story about cancer being cured by sexual liberation. I don't expect him to block cancer research on those grounds any more than I expect Hillary Clinton to go out rounding up "superpredators." But if we can be disturbed by what part of her intellectual makeup motivated Clinton to raise the latter line of thinking, we can also be disturbed by what part of Bernie's makeup motivated him to raise the former.

Nowadays most people think science is something fun to talk or argue about. But I don't think people admit, really, how vitally important it is for the running of our government and the structure of our society. It's not there to be appreciated, it's there to be used. Even in this very thread, the consensus seems to be: all this stuff is settled, CaptainRook is a funny rube, but he's just an isolated nut and we can all feel satisfied in our superiority. But there are people all over the country who hold to beliefs just as irrational as his with regard to scientific issues, and in the Democratic race, they support Bernie Sanders almost universally, because as a politician he intentionally chose to fill that niche.

If Bernie Sanders became president, I would worry about the future of nuclear power (and by extension, the climate and energy crises), about regulation of agricultural practices, of biotechnology, of aspects of medical research. I'd worry about the mainstreaming of the anti-fracking movement, which could have been built upon reasonable concerns but quickly began to flirt heavily with pseudoscience. In general, I would worry about the left being relegated to just another movement, with just another set of axes to grind with no more justification than its own internal groupthink. When the right gave up any pretense of rationally justifying their positions, they went down the path of the tea party and (hopefully) electoral oblivion. The left should exploit that opening to build the new electoral center. We shouldn't try to emulate it.

If we can be concerned that some fraction of Hillary Clinton's campaign contributions came from people who've worked on Wall Street, then we should also be concerned that some fraction of Bernie Sanders's campaign contributions came from people who think vaccines cause diseases.

i think you are speaking about a specific group of people that you have engaged with,
in the numerous 'posts that say the same thing, different day',
some of us ignore those posts
because to be honest, they are tinged with the very lack of nuance that makes (american) politics infuriating
(everything is too black and white)
but listen, i think i put up one of the first 'why not bernie' posts on here, way before it became a thing
i also know that since, there are things about him that disappoint me
(including he should *now* be doing more to ensure we all vote clinton, instead of maintaining this division.
and working a bit more to increase # of dems in house and senate- or whatever's up for election) if we are really serious about change).
so.. not everyone has elevated bernie to a lofty pedestal. maybe just those you choose to interact with,
and those of us who haven't also hold views that are rational and would prefer not to included in some mythical 'bernie supporters'
or 'majority of bernie supporters'
its not even a majority, btw.
antivaxxers make up quite a small proportion of the liberal pop (even though they are typically well educated, so even if all liberals supported bernie, this mythical 'bernie supporters' would be minority 'mystical'.

>Though it's obviously a bit of a postjack,

an unnecessary one, at that. i dont know whom it is in here that you are addressing.
maybe you can point them out, so they can read all this. i for one havent talked at all about clinton in nary a post. (i'm about to)

>There really are imperfections in Hillary Clinton's platform.

you dont seem to understand that even if hillary run a 'perfect' platform there would still be people who dont like her
I know i dont like her at all (i remember how sleazy and slimy she was during the last election.)
i dont think she's to be trusted.
i think she is more likely to design a platform based on what she thinks is popular etc.
but whatevr. she's the democratic candidate, and the far better option compared to the other side.

i'd much rather spend time talking about how the american political system does not have a proper conservative or liberal party
at least not in the way these are described. you have a fringe (right) party, and an increasingly right-shifting democratic party.

>If Bernie Sanders became president, I would worry about the
>future of nuclear power (and by extension, the climate and
>energy crises), about regulation of agricultural practices, of

again, i appreciate science as much as the next person.
but some of these *do* need regulation (agriculture e.g.- remove the farm subsidies).
I dont think there has been a specific debate on science to even start to know if clinton is any different on these issues.
we just dont know, either.

it just sounds like youn are doing the very same thing you are accusing bernie's supporters of doing...
only that you happen to sit on the clinton side of the fence.

there have been godknows how many posts that have gone back and forth about this very issue
i dont know why you want them to spill over to posts that dont have anything to do with bern-hill

and btw, im not dismissing c.rook.
i am engaging with him because this shit is very very important to me and even being able to change one or two persons minds (or give them pause for thought is worthwhile to me)

so im not here to point and laugh, as you suggest, or feel superior.
im here because this shit is too important to just let slide

holding olympics to see who's the more dishonest between bern or hill
is not.

Did I ever include you among the "mythical Bernie supporters"? To be honest I didn't even know you liked him until your first patronizing "you can do better" post.

>>Though it's obviously a bit of a postjack,

Well, given that I started out by replying to denny, he would be the obvious guess.

Increasingly right-shifting, though? We shouldn't divert the thread over this (arguing with CaptainRook is far more important), but the Democratic party has shifted dramatically to the left since the '90s, including Hillary Clinton. In part this is because the country has moved to the left thanks to the collapse of the Bush administration, anger at the Republican Congress, the rise in acceptance of gay rights, concern over global warming, and other issues. The Democratic party, which is in the business of pleasing a maximal coalition of progressive voters, "designs a platform based on what they think is popular", as they should.

Just to clarify, I did not mean to imply that agriculture should not be regulated. Of course it should. In general I would say that all industries should be heavily regulated. My only point is that this regulation should be based on facts and not pseudo-environmentalist fever dreams.

>there have been godknows how many posts that have gone back

>i dont know why you want them to spill over to posts that dont

When I bring up science in the politics threads, nobody notices. When I bring up politics in the science threads, apparently it touches a nerve. There's your answer.

>and btw, im not dismissing c.rook.
>i am engaging with him because this shit is very very
>important to me and even being able to change one or two

>me)

Very good. You're not gonna change his mind, or probably anybody else's. But nobody understands the motivation to fight the good fight more than I do. Matter of fact, *this is precisely why I so relentlessly attack Bernie*. I'm hoping (against all reason) to change a few people's minds just like you are.

>so im not here to point and laugh, as you suggest, or feel
>superior.

But deep down, as much as we wouldn't like to admit it even to ourselves, I think that's a fundamental part of the motivation for all of us. I'm really not trying to accuse you in particular. I really do respect you; always have.

>im here because this shit is too important to just let slide
>
>holding olympics to see who's the more dishonest between bern
>or hill
>is not.

See, this is where we have to disagree. While the antivax movement is definitely too important to just let slide, and more broadly, so is the "progressive mysticism" movement (to make up a phrase) that denny first noted in here, it really doesn't do any good for the issue to argue with a single idiot on the internet whose entire goal from the very beginning was to bring attention to his cause. Putting aside the fact that arguments on OKP make a negligible difference on any issue, if anything, by arguing with him and bringing his ridiculous agenda thread up to well over 100 replies all we're really doing is bringing him the attention he craved from the very beginning. If the thread had sunk directly off of the front page then fewer people would have been misled by his bullshit. I think we argue in these threads because it makes us feel better, first and foremost, whether it does any good or not.

And yeah, that's why we argue about politics in the politics threads. But at least the politics threads are timely. At least changing a few minds on political issues, if it were ever to happen, could actually matter for something and wouldn't just be swallowed up in the permanent and inevitable tide of irrationality.

with this patronising, father-knows-best bullshit you spew?

That you see a discussion about anti-vaccine supporters and the first thing in your mind is to insert your shit talking points about Sanders speaks to the extent you are trapped hopelessly in an echo chamber.

It's like someone showing up in a Prince percocet post screaming "Hillary is paid off by Big Pharma ZOMG!"

I mean most people who troll and rabble rouse here do it out of boredom or shits and giggles, and that malevolent glee comes across in the tone of their posts most times. You on the other hand, seem to think you are, dare I say it, saving us wretched souls, perhaps illuminating us with the truth as we commute to Damascus until we change our names and our misguided ways.

Instead you come off as a desperate, shrill bully.

It's slowly become pathetic. Please stop.

So it's patronizing for me to point out that people are being selective in their outrage? Fine.

I've been a regular in these antivax posts for over a decade. I promise, I'm not getting in the way of anyone who wants to call out CaptainRook on his ludicrous bullshit. Good for them. It's fun to take on such easy targets.

But denny made a point specifically about irrational mystical beliefs that are widespread on the political left. He left out the most timely example, and I pointed it out.

Look, I'm known for only two things around OKP. The first is that I'll argue for weeks on end with antivaxers, global warming deniers, evolution deniers, deniers of other aspects of science (and yes, I happily bully those people, just like everyone's bullying CaptainRook in here). The other is that I'm the ONLY person here who actively opposes Bernie Sanders as a candidate. I'm taking this rare opportunity to point out, to those who haven't realized it, that these two aspects of my OKP identity are fundamentally linked.

denny, Mynoriti, and akon have all agreed that they see the connection, but that other issues are more important to them. That's fine. Other issues are not more important to me, though. Discussion boards are for having discussions.

The fact that you don't want the connection to even be made seems to indicate that you feel threatened by it, which is telling.

AGAIN!!!!

Most attack me here, because they really don't know any better. Columbus was attacked throughout Europe for his claim that the world was round. This thought/concept/belief offended them by making them feel uncomfortable, so they did what was the most natural thing to do; they attacked him.

I don't see the attacks as bullying; it's easy to go along with The Machine, even when it's obvious that it's out-right-wrong. People like to believe in the sacredness of institutions and those institutions being exposed as corrupt or just plain flawed disrupts their constitution.

This is just part of the process of moving towards a new paradigm.

However, I am surprised at how many Black people are so willing to just go along with whatever Big Brother claims and professes. If ANYONE should know how much false thought/false concepts/false theories and outright lies, can proliferate and be commonly accepted as true in this society, is us. It's amazing to me how naïve, we (i.e., Black people) have suddenly become.

I was trying to use a reference that everyone could easily relate to.

But no matter what name/reference I use, you (and some others) will undoubtedly find an excuse to try to ridicule it.

Carry on with your foolish agenda...

I sound insane? How so? I'm making claims, based on facts. Just because you want to ignore the facts and bury your head in the sand, doesn't change the reality of things. Keep being a mindless zombie and believing in fallacies. One day, you'll be forced to grow up.

I've seen it hundreds of times. People go into the hospital and don't come out.

I don't think it's in any way related to the fact that those people were already sick when they went in either.

in your favor. Trauma and emergency type shit, the US med. system is top notch.

Diabetes, heart disease, cancer, et.al., the hospital is a DANGEROUS INSTITUTION to go to/be in for those conditions.

I can't believe I'm even acknowledging this, but I'm curious about your 'logic'.

If hospitals are dangerous places to go to for cancer, diabetes, etc., then what are the safe places to go to?

The earth. The planet provides a natural "cure" for EVERY dis-ease in existence. In more practical terms, your best approach is to avoid contracting those dis-eases in the first place, by making better food choices and studying the science of eating and not eating (i.e., fasting, juicing etc.).

So maybe I shouldn't say the earth (that may be too abstract and vague); but instead I should say the produce section of your local natural foods store or farmers market (after you've gone to the library, of course).

information, data, or anything else presented by me is gonna change your willful ignorance. Stay in your mental comfort zone, even if it is built on lies; at least, it makes YOU feel comfortable (and THAT'S ALL that matters, right?).

Being the Third Leading Cause of Death, says enough about the success, safety-ness, and reliability of the US medical system.

And you can keep laughing all you want, but the joke is really on you.

BTW, there's a difference between dying and being killed.

His public information on dr. Sebi. Which independent body has it been audited and reviewed by?

And explain the difference between being killed and dying to me.
Are you implying that people who undergo conventional medical treatment for a chronic illness and die while under said care are killed by doctors?

And are you saying that nobody under Dr. Sebi's treatment has died? And if they died why isn't that he killed them?

>His public information on dr. Sebi.

Dr. Sebi's court case in New York in which he proved that he healed AIDS, among 8 other diseases, is legendary.

Which independent body
>has it been audited and reviewed by?
>

The 1000's of independent bodies that came to him in a state of dis-ease, with little or no hope (because conventional doctors had written them/their condition off) and left him healthy, happy human beings.

>
>And explain the difference between being killed and dying to
>me.

Dying is more or less a natural death; being killed is usually caused by an entity/somebody outside of the individual, that/who prematurely hastens their death.

>Are you implying that people who undergo conventional medical
>treatment for a chronic illness and die while under said care
>are killed by doctors?
>

THEY ARE SAYING that being treated by doctors leads to the patients' death, to the tune/point of being the 3rd leading cause of death. The illness (chronic or whatever type of illness) didn't kill the patient; the doctor's treatment is what killed the patient.

I'm saying that there is little to nothing that conventional medicine can do to actually heal you of your illness. The best that they can do (or even attempt to do) is to mask the symptoms. They even tell you that many of the prescribed medications can make your overall condition worse, even TO THE POINT OF KILLING YOU.

>And are you saying that nobody under Dr. Sebi's treatment has
>died? And if they died why isn't that he killed them?

I'm not saying that no one has died while under Sebi's care; but I'm sure that what he did, did not cause or hasten the patient's death. Some people wait until the last minute to go to Sebi, when death is all but imminent. At that point, there is nothing Sebi can do to save them and if THAT equates to killin' 'em, well...even if you accept as the case, Dr. Sebi's rate of "killed" patients is still not even remotely comparable to that of conventional medicine's rate of killing.

Well, whether Dr. Sebi understands basic chemistry or not is NOT the issue. HE ACTUALLY HEALS PEOPLE!!!! That's the bottom line, when it comes down to it, and that's all that really matters.

How many conventional medical doctors do you know who can say that they have healed ANYONE of AIDS/HIV? How many conventional medical doctors do you know who can say that they have healed ANYONE of ANYTHING?

To believe in an institution that is on record for being the THIRD LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH as some type of savior to humanity, is actually akin to believing in a flat earth theory. You might as well make a post about it and get your laugh on.

To deny the public record of conventional medicine actually killing more people than anything else except for heart disease and cancer and WILLINGLY ACCEPT ADULT LIVES BEING PUT TO DEATH (not "at risk" for something, like the children you are so concerned about, but ACTUALLY BEING KILLED), I really can't find humor in THAT!!

But apparently, you don't think that it's a big deal, at all.

at least those are the ones i can claim to have worked with closely
(and im talking medically trained, not just the ones who affix dr. to their name
without having any knowledge of even basic chemistry or biology
and no, not just U.S trained)

how many have saved lives? all of them
and because death is a factor of life, there are also people they have been unable to save
now, do you know why HIV is today considered a chronic condition, unlike when it first hit?
you dont?: medication.
now, is there a cure for HIV/AIDS. not yet. im waging to bet its coming
we are far better at suppressing the effect of HIV than we ever were
the issue now is how to get rid of the virus in the last reaches where it 'hides' (e.g. the brain <- if you knew some biology you would know why this is difficult)

is dr. sebi curing people of HIV and Aids?
tell us more

I didn't ask how many lives did they save. I ask how many diseases have they healed. I'm sure that they are good in the clutch with trauma and medical emergencies, but healing chronic diseases (better yet, PREVENTING chronic diseases), them dudes don't have a clue.

Enough. I'm not all that impressed with most of 'em. Most are quite clueless on how to PREVENT disease, which is the cornerstone of maintaining health.

aka healing
prevention is necessary yes
its why i work in public health, but you also need treatment
some things you cant just prevent (e.g 15% of women will experience complications during pregnancy
this is not predicted during the pregnancy, neither is it preventable.
yes we can reduce certain risk factors
(by providing medication eg to control hypertension etc)
but when that moment comes and the woman needs emergency obstetric care?
better find a doctor, or a nurse midwife, and certain drugs, equipment and supplies... and quick
and often you will need surgery.
ive seen too many women die because of lack of health care
healing herbs don't do shit.

in places with high prevalence of malaria? what works?
prompt effective treatment to prevent the complications of malaria (and especially in children and pregnant women)
treatment in essence also acts as a form of prevention
(in the HIV field, the one where treatment does not still exist, not dr sebis virtual reality, treatment is considered prevention)
i've worked with people living with hiv/aids. Ive had to take care of people in the last stages of aids.
if you think a few herbal remedies will 'cure' a condition like that, i dont know what to tell you
i've also seen how effective HIV meds are... even when someone is diagnosed as having reached the stage of aids,
the medication can act to reduce viral loads to unmeasureable levels.

it seems like your focus is on prevention - simple things like water and sanitation
while we cannot emphasize the importance of this enough
it is not adequate
when someone falls sick? better get them treatment and fast.
not everything is water/sanitation

i worked through a cholera epidemic, and while yes we went around training health workers to prevent themselves from getting infection
and ran a series of hand-washing, proper sanitation health education campaigns..
you know what else we trained healthworkers on?
proper rehydration, including administering IV fluids... because when someone gets to a certain level of dehydration, you better start an IV
and administer zinc

children with diarrhoea? guess what? oral rehydration +zinc is more effective.
deworming? get some albendazole

but i know all this is propaganda to you
so i will just leave you to it
hopefully those around you know better than to encourage this line of thinking
(including, it seems a lack of appreciation of education - i guess you must wish you could not read and write.
im not sure if you have been in a place where the majority are not literate.
while education is not the end/all be/all, it certainly improves one's quality of life
far more than lack of

Treatment and healing ain't hardly the same thing.

>prevention is necessary yes

Well, at least you got ^^this^^ right.

>its why i work in public health, but you also need treatment

With the exception of accidents, almost everything IS PREVENTABLE. Ain't no money in prevention in the US medical business structure, so prevention is always played down or just ignored.

some things you cant just prevent (e.g 15% of women will
>experience complications during pregnancy
>this is not predicted during the pregnancy, neither is it
>preventable.

I don't believe those statistics. Pregnancy complications occur far less than that.

> yes we can reduce certain risk factors
>(by providing medication eg to control hypertension etc)
>but when that moment comes and the woman needs emergency
>obstetric care?

Medicine to control hypertension? See, that's the problem. You will NEVER actually heal ANYONE OF ANYTHING if medication is your solution to disease and illness.

>better find a doctor, or a nurse midwife, and certain drugs,
>equipment and supplies... and quick

Giving birth is as natural as taking a dump. Since when does medical intervention become a regular undertaking for something so natural? Since doctors see an economic opportunity is since when this natural process has been medicalized.

Often distress during the process can be relieved from knowledge of the birthing process and being connected to the emotions and mental state of the mother and knowing how to help her to relax. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING relaxing about a hospital environment, therefore, the mother/and child is most likely gonna experience some type of distress during the birthing process, which will give the savior doctors an excuse/justification to intervening and cutting on the woman or pulling out some of their other fancy (but often completely unnecessary) medical tricks.

As far as herbs are concerned, there are SEVERAL herbs that aid in the birthing process, by helping to relax the uterus and to help the woman's body naturally release the child(ren).

>

Knowing how to strengthen the immune system is the best weapon against any and all disease conditions; not western "treatments" or medicine.

>(in the HIV field, the one where treatment does not still
>exist, not dr sebis virtual reality, treatment is considered

I don't know if treatment exists (but should treatment be the goal?), but Sebi has been HEALING HIV/AIDS since 1987/88.

i've worked with people living with hiv/aids. Ive had to take
>care of people in the last stages of aids.
>if you think a few herbal remedies will 'cure' a condition

It ain't a matter of what I THINK; it's a matter of what is. There is no disease that the body can not over come. You believing the contrary shows how ignorant you are and exposes the true short coming of your training and education.

>i've also seen how effective HIV meds are... even when someone
>is diagnosed as having reached the stage of aids,
>the medication can act to reduce viral loads to unmeasureable

>

Meds and effective in the same sentence is an oxymoronic statement. Usually, it's the (ultra toxic) medicine(s) that the patient has been on, that's accelerated their dire condition.

Remember the goal, SHOULD BE to heal the person, NOT to just make them comfortable.

>it seems like your focus is on prevention - simple things like
>water and sanitation
>while we cannot emphasize the importance of this enough
>it is not adequate

You're right,about water and sanitation, but that is at least half the problem. I.e., if you get that right, you're at least half way to your goal of solid health.

Proper nutrition, through fresh produce and clean air, also plays a very significant role. These are the elements needed to build up a healthy immune system, which is what protects one from disease and illness, NOT medicines and vaccinations.

Yes, rehydration in the case of extreme sickness and/or dehydration is critical. The best (natural) rehydration fluid on the planet is coconut water.

In America, education has been used as an effective weapon to aid in our (i.e., Black people) underdevelopment. You can educate people in an improper way and they can become no good to anyone.

Dr. Carter G. Woodson, spelled this out in very eloquent terms in his book, "The Miseducation of The Negro". We have often been the victims of miseducation, when attempting to go to school and get educated and that is a real crime. We come out with misguided vision and jacked up values, not knowing what's real and believing in fantasies/fallacies. Many of us today are victims of the spell of Miseducation.

What DOES MAKE SENSE is that Sebi has successfully healed a countless number of people of AIDS/HIV, cancer, diabetes, lupus, sickle cell and numerous other diseases.

How many of your MD's, who do understand chemistry (to your liking) can make a claim anything like that?

Down from 350,000 in 1988 to 74 in 2015.

But where is polio on the rise?

In Pakistan, big time, where the Taliban is instilling a belief that the vaccine was designed by the West as a way to wipe out Muslims.

parents are refusing (or are being denied by the Taliban) the vaccine for their kids and it's making a resurgence there.

but, you know, vaccines are bad.

Women going door to door trying to help with polio vaccinations and being denied by people saying it was a plot by isreal to wipe out the population. Like 100% certain of it.

Dad who had denied the shot took his baby to the doctor. the baby had lost all movement in his arms and legs. Dad was holding him up like a puppet saying "nah, he's getting better"

Doctor breaking the news to him that now that his baby has polio there's no cure anywhere in the world. It was fucking heartbreaking.

I'm not responsible for any disease. ALL DISEASES begin from within; if your immune system is hitting on all cylinders and you're not violating any of the basic tenets of health, you will be disease free (no measles, no chicken pox, no mumps, no polio, no any of that shit, that you all want to give props to vaccines for eradicating).

Yep. Instead of doing FIELD WORK with plants and other organisms in their NATURAL environment in the rainforest and water ways of his birth home country Honduras, learning the sacred art/science of ACTUALLY HEALING people of diseases, he should have gone to US medical school for 4 years, interned 4 years and learned how to KILL PEOPLE, instead (while wearing a white lab coat, while killin' 'em).

from preventable vaccine-preventable deaths? That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Well, that's what you THINK.

I've also seen (first-hand) the importance of vaccines, and access to health-care, so there's that.

only medical access has the potential to save her life and her infants

People die everyday, everywhere on this green earth. The point that I'm making is that US conventional medicine is accelerating the death rate, NOT halting it.

So again, what's your point? Does any of that block or disprove the fact that Sebi has healed people while US medicine has killed people?

>unless you are implying that dr sebi is only one annointed

No, I'm not implying that at all; he's not alone. As he (Dr. Sebi) often says, "no one owns healing". Try telling that to US medicine and it's bureaucracy.

Every disease, including your dreaded polio, measles, mumps and chicken pox is completely avoidable (and avoidable without your sacred vaccinations). ALL DISEASES START FROM WITHIN, with one's lifestyle, habits, and environment. This is the secret that NO ONE apart of the medical establishment wants the public to know.

"reading is fundamental"

the usnews article doesn't say that medical care is a bad thing

it calls for reduction of medical errors... i.e. improve the care hospitals are providing
... more funding to improve patient safety, when they receive medical treatment
(not asking for patients to stop being treated)
stop being stupid and reactionary

"The letter takes pains to point out that the U.S. government and private sector spend "a lot of money" on heart disease and cancer research and prevention. "It is time for the country to invest in medical quality and patient safety,"

Makary adds that it was his perception that medical-error research is "underfunded and under-appreciated" that prompted him to embark on an analysis that would elevate fatal mishaps to their proper place near the top of the list of all causes of death.

The findings, Jha says, illustrate that the policies and practices we're putting in place "are completely inadequate to the size of the problem we have."

geez us.

perhaps the only good thing about this post is the hope that you are not wasting tax payer money by going to the hospital
there are many more people who are smart enough to know that medical practice (and public health) saves lives who benefit from this.

No reputable, commonly read periodical would dare utter such a thing in those direct terms (the Medical Mafia would kill 'em).

But I think that the title of the article (i.e.,: Medical Errors Are Third Leading Cause of Death in the US) says it all. That's not exactly a flattering title, no matter how you wanna spin it.

>it calls for reduction of medical errors... i.e. improve the

Stop making medical errors, improve the care hospitals are providing, et.al. Now those are novel ideas. How did they think of THAT?? Those guys must be geniuses, or something. Let's see how that actually works out for them.

>"The letter takes pains to point out that the U.S. government

Yeah, well, they need to try to do something that stops them from killin' people. As long as they continue with their germ theory and other modalities that they hold sacred, I don't think anything that they do will make much of a difference. But, we shall see.

Medical practice saves lives? Are you seriously, THAT blatantly and willfully ignorant or do you have an agenda? (Maybe all 3). THESE FOOLS/THIS INSTITUTION IS THE THIRD LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH!!

Unless you've experienced some type of trauma or have an emergency, THEM DUDES IS DANGEROUS.

Polio Was NOT Eradicated By The Vaccine
From Patricia Doyle, PhD
12-16-10

Hello Jeff - That is a very interesting article on the polio vaccine you have posted.

The Hidden History Of The Polio Vaccine

http://www.henrymakow.com/hidden_history_of_vaccines.html

No one realizes that at the same time polio cases began to wane, the first world was improving sewage and water systems. I would liken the reduction in cases to improved potent water supplies and to improved sewage treatment. I remember in the early 1950's the city of Yonkers, NY came to the suburb of Yonkers, Sherwood Park, east yonkers and actually required us to hook up to the sewer system. At that time our home was using a cess pool and well water. Many homes, mostly older, in my area used the cess pool and well water systems.

Polio is actually spread via feces/oral route. I would wager that President Roosevelt got his polio swimming in the Hudson river which is where many of my neighbors got their polio. I remember seeing signs which read "No Swimming due to Polio" in Alpine NJ along beaches on the Hudson River. The Hudson was notorious for having raw sewage enter it.

If polio vaccine is the sole reason for ending the spread of polio in the first world, then why hasn't polio ended in India, the Congo and other countries? There have been countless polio vaccine campaigns year after year in Africa, India etc yet we keep hearing about outbreaks, currently, India and Africa have polio outbreaks. The answer is not vaccine but sanitation. In countries that have raw sewage entering the rivers, lakes etc where people use these same waterways for drinking and cooking the disease will never die away. The money spent on vaccine is only a fraction of what it would cost to put in decent sanitation which would include sewers and sewage treatment along with providing potable safe drinking water in the third world, so, consequently, the pharma industry with a lot to lose talks about the reduction of polio via vaccine. Ergo, the myth is perpertrated.

So, Polio vaccine ending the polio outbreak in the first world? It's a completer MYTH.

Also, very little is ever said about the origin of some of the third world Polio outbreaks, that being, the live attenuated vaccine itself. There are times that Polio breaks out AFTER a vaccination program with Sabin live virus.

Unvaccinated people, just as what happens with live nasal flu vaccine, can contract the disease from contact with a recent vaccinated person. The article you posted points this fact out.

The Hidden History Of The Polio Vaccine

http://www.henrymakow.com/hidden_history_of_vaccines.html

As I stated earlier, sanitation is preeminent in containing polio outbreaks. The polio virus lives in the intestinal tract and is spread via oral/fecal route. So, number one, good hygiene is the first step in prevention of spread and self infection. 2. Sanitation and a supply of clean drinking water is next. In Polio endemic areas where raw sewage flows into bodies of water and into the environment disease outbreak is a risk. I do believe that this is the way President Roosevelt might have been infected. If he swam in the Hudson River, which many people did at that time, he might have been infected by polio that was in raw sewage that entered the Hudson. 3. another problem, live polio virus vaccine which can cause outbreaks due to the live polio virus in the vaccine.

I am always amazed when I think back to the way I was vaccinated. I was in the early group that got vaccinated in my elementary school. I remember they lined all of the classes up in the Hall and took us class by class into the nurses office. There were a couple of people giving out the vaccine, and I assumed they were doctors but could have been from the vaccine company. I don't believe that my parents had been notified before the vaccine was given. They did mail a small care home that stated I received the polio vaccine. I think I still have that care to this day. I believe that I received the Salk vaccine

Lastly, there are some doctors who feel that CFS and nonpolio enteroviruses emerged as a direct result of polio vaccine. Check out www.whale.to/w/douglas.html

Patty

http://www.whale.to/a/bruno.html

June, 2002 by Dr. Richard L. Bruno

Have you heard of a Dr. William Campbell Douglas and his contention that polio "may be with us again in a disguised form" and that the oral polio vaccine is causing PPS and chronic fatigue syndrome? Could this be true?

I have read Dr. Douglas' writings. He also says polio is "more common than ever." But I don't think he means that the three polioviruses are more common than ever, are "with us again in a disguised form" or that the oral polio vaccine is causing PPS and chronic fatigue syndrome. That is not to say that Dr. Douglas isn't on the right track about "polio" being with us again and that the oral polio vaccine is indirectly "causing" PPS and chronic fatigue syndrome.

This is because something unexpected, frightening and totally unrecognized happened after the polio vaccine was distributed: The number of cases of CFS/ME went through the roof.

British infectious disease specialist Elizabeth Dowsett plotted the cases of CFS/ME she and CFS/ME pioneer MeIvin Ramsay had seen in their practice since 1919 against reported cases of polio in England. When the Salk and then Sabin vaccines brought the yearly number of British polio cases below 25 in the early 1960s, the number of CFS/ME patients took off. In Ramsay's and Dowsett's practice alone, between 1960 and 1980 the number of CFS/ME patients increased by fifty times. Between 1980 and 1990, the number of patients with CFS/ME increased yet again by a factor of fifty! Throughout the world 32 CFS/ME outbreaks were recorded after the polio vaccine was distributed. So something other than the poliovirus was causing CFS/ME.

What is that something? It appears that the vaccine that eliminated polio had an unintended consequence. The elimination of the three types of poliovirus left a vacuum that had to be filled. Just as a flock of dominant and aggressive blue jays blocks less aggressive robins from roosting in your back yard, poliovirus are the blue jays of enteroviruses, the viruses that live and grow in your intestines. When poliovirus "blue jays" disappeared from your intestines thanks to the vaccine, other enteroviruses "robins" took over the poliovirus' old intestinal breeding ground and filled the vacuum. With the polioviruses gone other enteroviruses were able to multiply, spill into the bloodstream and enter the spinal cord and brain.

In 1990 Dr. Dowsett looked for antibodies to non-polio enterovirus in her CFS/ME patients. Fifty percent had antibodies to the first non-polio enterovirus ever discovered -- the Coxsackie B virus -- named after Coxsackie, New York, the town where it was found to have paralyzed children in 1948.

Yes, paralyzed. It is not just the polioviruses that enter and kill neurons in the spinal cord and brain stem. Neuron damage, weakness, paralysis and symptoms of brain fatigue caused by non-polio enteroviruses can be so similar as to be indistinguishable from the actions of polioviruses. One Coxsackie virus, named A7, produces paralytic symptoms so similar to polio that it has been named poliovirus "Type IV."

Other enteroviruses that cause damage and symptoms similar to the polioviruses include all the other Coxsackie viruses, the ECHO viruses (which in 1956 were the first viruses associated with a CFS/ME outbreak) and the recently discovered Enteroviruses 71. One piece of evidence directly links an enterovirus to CFS/ME and damage to the neurons that activate the brain. Sadly, the evidence comes from a CFS/ME patient who took her own life. Traces of Coxsackie B virus -- the same virus for which Dowsett found antibodies in her CFS/ME patients -- was found in both the hypothalamus and brain stem, the very heart of the brain activating system which our and others' research has found is damage in polio survivors with fatigue and in patients with CFS/ME.

So the "disguised form" that polio may be talking is not a disguise at all but replacement by another enterovirus. And the oral polio vaccine is "causing" chronic fatigue syndrome by making way for other enterovirus to grow in the intestines and be able to do damage like that done by the poliovirus, except that the damage is most frequently found in brain activating system neurons and causes fatigue, not in the spinal cord causing paralysis.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dr. Richard Bruno is Director of Fatigue Management Programs and The Post-Polio Institute at Englewood (NJ)
Hospital and Medical Center. His new book, THE POLIO PARADOX: UNCOVERING THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF POLIO TO UNDERSTAND TREAT "POST-POLIO SYNDROME" AND CHRONIC FATIGUE, is published by Warner Books. (AOL Keyword POLIO PARADOX.) E-mail questions to him at PolioParadox@aol.com
How do you expect me to put one iota of confidence in material that comes for a website that looks like this (warning: make sure you virus protection is up to date lol):
http://rense.com/
Out of all the information being produced in the world, why would you choose this to be your source? lol
You do realize that anyone can post things on the internet, right? Anybody can make up their credentials to make themselves look legitimate.
When you're bent on being ignorant, NO SOURCE will be credible enough.
You're right. That's why I originally stated go to the public library (not go to the internet). That link/article was just to expose your limited "thinking" to something else outside of the standard establishment propaganda.
Sebi hasn't written any books. He has plenty of lectures on YouTube and he lectures in larger US cities on the regular, so you can check him out there. Whether you deem him ignorant because he doesn't have the level of education that you deem acceptable or doesn't have an acceptable understanding of chemistry or something or other subject, just remember your medical heroes have ALL THAT and THEY AIN'T HEALED A GODD DAMN THING!!!
Where it REALLY counts, Sebi has it and he has it IN ABUNDANCE.
Read Dr. Laila O. Afrika with an open mind, before you dismiss his theory outright. I don't expect you to accept it, but at least listen to it/read it with an open mind to get where he's coming from. But even if you disagree with that, he still has plenty else to offer.
The CDC used a vaccine that causes autism according to this video.
What strain of 2060 kush are these people on? The base claim is utter bullshit and this idea that these people are smarter than decision makers is laughable. This whole fuck science movement a certain segment of one political party has been on for years hurts the current and next generation tremendously.
but Im not ready to conceded that its attributed to
vaccines.
So for the pro-vax crowd... Do we know what this is
attributed to? This is definitely a serious issue
that has to be figured out fast and this shit is
scary when you got one on the way
That is, we don't know what we should attribute the rise in autism diagnoses to. I'm sure there's a lot more nuance that could be provided by someone better informed on that particular issue.
But with regard to the "connection" to vaccines, it's important to note that fact that we don't know the correct hypothesis does not mean we should fall back to a hypothesis that's already been disproven. We don't have to know what it *is* before we can know what it *isn't*.
"The adjuvant used in most, if not all, vaccines creates or exacerbates the conditions that can lead to Autism."
The adjuvant is aluminum, a known neurotoxin.
http://board.okayplayer.com/okp.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=12727768&mode=full#12727874
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21568886
"Aluminum is an experimentally demonstrated neurotoxin and the most commonly used vaccine adjuvant. Despite almost 90 years of widespread use of aluminum adjuvants, medical science's understanding about their mechanisms of action is still remarkably poor. There is also a concerning scarcity of data on toxicology and pharmacokinetics of these compounds. In spite of this, the notion that aluminum in vaccines is safe appears to be widely accepted. Experimental research, however, clearly shows that aluminum adjuvants have a potential to induce serious immunological disorders in humans. In particular, aluminum in adjuvant form carries a risk for autoimmunity, long-term brain inflammation and associated neurological complications and may thus have profound and widespread adverse health consequences."
The establishment dismisses this, even as their own science acknowledges how toxic mercury is to the human body and the central nervous system, in particular. Their fucking hypocrisy is ridiculous.
Isn't it interesting that none of the pro-vax advocates have bothered to respond to this post. I'm not at all surprised that that is the case, but I still find it interesting.
You'd better watch it; posting something like this, may get you on the anti-vaxxer list and you may become the butt of mass (corny) jokes around these parts and be ridiculed, to no end.
I'm not an anti-vaxxer, just someone trying to get to the truth of the matter. I've dabbled in many scientific disciplines since childhood and this topic is fascinating to me.
In response to Reply # 153
I have a PhD in immunology and do research on vaccines. I currently research cancer vaccines, but have researched vaccines using alum in the past. We have to perform multiple safety studies where we would give extremely large doses to mice and non-human primates and track any side effects and did not see any damage to the brain. In order to do any type of severe damage, you would need to give 1000x what is given to kids. There are many things that are toxins that we place in our body every day, but they are harmful only in extremely large quantities.
Also we do have an idea how alum works to boost the antibody response. We use it in vaccines for multiple reasons. The main ones are that alum can induces a "danger signal" to activate the immune system. The specific danger signals (DNA NETs) and the signaling pathway (NLRP3 inflammasome). This results in increased antigen uptake and presentation by antigen presenting cells. It also binds to the protein really well and helps peptide stability.
as I understand it, what was previously diagnosed as an intellectual disability
is now diagnosed as autism
= the autism spectrum continues to widen, increasing diagnosis
a personal hypothesis
I would attribute some of the increase to the rise in the average age of first time mothers, fertility drugs, etc... (but this is just a guess on my part)
though. These dudes is gon' claim that it could be anything and everything in the universe EXCEPT vaccines.
"I mean, these guys went to medical school and studied medical theory and they conducted several lab tests and on top of all that, They Wear White Lab Coats!!! So whatever they say or claim, HAS TO BE RIGHT!!! There's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY in the world that these guys could be wrong, EVER!!
"And they are always Truthful and Honest, NEVER DECEPTIVE. So just ignore
1)them claiming back in the day that smoking was not only safe, but good for you;
2) the fact that they mocked and ostracized Ignaz P. Semmelweis for suggesting that doctors should wash their hands between patients to prevent the spread of germs and reduce the likelihood of infection;
3) the outright, diabolical deceit involved in the Tuskegee Experiment.
"Just ignore all of that stuff and pretend like it never happened, because these guys would NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT AGAIN and THEY WOULD NEVER BE WRONG ABOUT ANYTHING AGAIN, EVER."
That's more or less would be their explanation for their stance or at least their sentiment, regarding the vaccine issue.
The role of older fathers.
Increased paternal age has been linked by some to increased risk of schizophrenia...some think it might be playing a role in autism too.
Early days, but it's an interesting observation I think
validity of your argument.
I will say, however, your approach is terrible and no one is going to listen to any point, valid or not, you have to make because of the way you are presenting it.
And let's be honest, your challenge of buddyg's reply above hurts your credibility in anything that requires logic and thought process.
And you still haven't answered my question regarding your caps technique.
And no, I did not click the link in the og post. I was at work when you posted it and can't open yt links there, and I surely haven't bothered to go back and watch it at is point because of what I said above in this reply.
And crash's reply was pretty vague, so I didn't get much out of it. I was honestly hoping for a bit more rational explanation and didn't get it.
Whether my approach is offensive or charming, it really doesn't matter; the Truth is what is. And if you're ready to hear/deal with it, then you will take it in accordingly; if not, you will always find a "flaw" or an "excuse" to dismiss it and carry on, along the same line of thinking, finding comfort in that.
Yeah, I was silly enough to play along with dude's silly joke; joke's on me ("ha, ha, very funny MotherF*cker" © Eddie Murphy). The point that I was trying to make in the midst of dude's joke is that historically, America's health care record, in comparison to many other nations of the world, has been ATROCIOUS. Many assume that an epidemic or health crisis in America, is a health challenge or crisis for everyone else in the world.
Joke or no joke, the information and situation is real, and it is no laughing matter. THAT should be everyone's focus.
The answer to this question is revealed at the end of the video in the OP.
Any excuse that you can use to remain ignorant, I guess, is better than no excuse at all. If you disliked my approach and I had posted a video of a big booty woman twerking, making IT clap, bounce and pound cake, you would HAVE NO PROBLEM clicking on that video to watch, no matter how offended or turned off you were by my tone and manner of communicating.
Vague yes, but it speaks volumes. Bottom line: do not believe everything that you're told, because it ain't the truth. There was a time when Black people didn't have to be told this; as victims of the world's biggest con artist society/nation, we naturally carried a healthy dose of skepticism and wasn't quite so quick to believe everything that white folks tell us. I guess that ain't the case no more.
