I just started House Of Lies today and it has everything. Don Cheadle, a fine mix of comedy and drama, fucked up adults, shrewd business moves, sex, seductive kids.
Im not a huge TV buff. What did you get addicted to watching way after it was cracking?

That was one of the first of this new gen of serialized shows I followed and I watched it EP by EP bc I was invested but that shit got SO TERRIBLE I don't know how anyone could binge it without getting physically ill
I tried to watch "the last break" a couple years ago & felt dirty & loserish for ever liking that show
Still for some damn reason I'm actually interested about the new one they're gonna do even tho Wack ass Sarah Wayne "thank god that bitch Lori is dead" Callies is back

season 2 was meeeeeh (though I loved the tweener storyline) but 4 & that shitty fake season 5 movie (you could tell they smashed a planned 5th season into a so called movie) with tankgirl were trash
This was probably a show that BENEFITED from the writers strike because at 20+ eps season 3 prolly would a been complete trash too
at least in season 3 there was another break
season 1 had major flaws too but the potential was there...

let everyone else determine whether its worth my time or not and then binge.
I hate getting caught in a show and having to wait a week to see what happens next. Plus the between season breaks make me lose interest and forget important details.

Bill Simmons put me into The Wire. I heard of it but he repeated it so much in an article I have it a shot and yes, it was that good.

I haven't watched Tyrant or The Americans but I heard both were good.

I rarely follow shows during their original runs. In fact, I've yet to watch a single episode of the hyped ones everyone yaps about: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc.
I'm currently on Jane the Virgin, OITNB, 24, Dexter & Treme now.. yeah I'm mad late but its ok
