I'm glad Ross is still making hits and still has money
AND
here is where this is complicated - I'm not hating on dude having paper or spending it on what he wants to spend it on
BUT, LIKE
ok, this shit feels like...you remember that kid who was dying of cancer and the city of San Francisco let him be Batman for a day knowing good and well that little boy was gonna die?
This shit feels like straight up pandering - they are letting him play "boss" for a day knowing good gotdamn well they will laugh at his ass once he drives off the lot.
Yo, if you got it like, you got it like that. I appreciate the fact that no fucks were given...I just cant put my finger on why this whole exchange feels like he is the N in HNIC.

First thing I said was "I'm glad Ross is still making hits and still has money" > >so > >what's the big deal? >
Its the general vibe I'm getting from the folks who are taking his money

4. "The fact that this video exists makes the whole shit cringeworthy" In response to Reply # 0
the whole "look how much money I got" video shits is cringe worthy on a whole. I don't care if it's Fiddy, Ross, Jay, Mayweather, or whomever.
As far as the salesman goes, yes... he IS pandering to him. Fuck it, I was that salesman once upon a time sellin car stereo systems and studio equipment to cats just like Ross and I played it exactly the same way. Make 'em feel important, kick it with 'em for a bit, let 'em play it up as a "boss" in front of his boys and make the sale.

oh jesus. thats not the implication im making
Im saying that in the video I felt a sense that they were giving him all sorts of fake love because he was spending, like, if he had no money it wouldnt be a case of "sorry sir, we dont have the time for you" it would be "GET THIS TRASH THE FUCK OUT OF HERE"

store where the worker might get a decent commission if Oprah bought some stuff, these people doing high end, big ticket purchases are building relationships and would do that for anyone able to make those kind of purchases. If my middle class white ass went in there, they'd think I was the UPS or Fed Ex guy or something, and probably tell me to kick rocks. Most rich people have go-to's when it comes to copping their stuff and repeat business on luxury items is probably what keeps places like that in business.

I'm pointing at the object and you are looking at my finger.
I feel the same way about floyd mayweather, khaled, Riff Raff, rich kids of instagram, corny Russian oligarchs, rich chinese international students - It's all cringey as fuck

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*
