Beyond the fact that you would prefer a fictional cartoon character over Nat Turner. Even though I really appreciate Tarantino's movies and wish he was the one doing the John Brown story(wish it was an epic too). You are choosing not to pay attention at all to the stakes involved prior to Nat and how he affected the immediate future after his actions before you even get to Harriot.
The Harriot movie would be the ultimate( I wont argue Toussaint) but the sad ending in Nat's, Toussaint's and everyone who preceded Harriot's story is quintessential to actually understand the fortitude it took to attempt any feats to get free from the 1600's to the mid 1800's.

The huge gains Black people made and how quickly they were taken away when the northern army receded. How about lynching scenes in the 1880s or *gasp* the 20th century!
Obviously I'm not blaming this movie for anything and I might see and enjoy it, but the point has been made about slavery.

Just being real on this one. I wanted to see this to be like a Braveheart of The Patriot but it looks more like a drama instead of an intense historic action movie
