- izzle as a suffix... people still use.. like Fox News people

- referring to money as paypa

- Captain Save A Ho in some variation is used.. "dont save her", "she wanna be saved" are both used as hook in top 20 radio songs currently..

I guess I mean more like these words became mainstream/nationwide because they spread via the music/culture

Shit, I'd say the word that I can't say would qualify too...and maybe not in a good way, word to krs

34. "RE: E-40 The king"
In response to Reply # 0

I will make a new argument that E-40 (and the izzle surrogate Snoop) is the king of most of these phrases that stood the test of time...

A lot of the East Coast phrases like Yo, Whattup, dope etc.. are so common they are used by most Gen Xers without thinking of origin... but if you say Gizzle My Nizzle (even comically) you know that shit comes from rap

cause if so, it's a trip that they are so much of everyday American vernacular. it's not even slang anymore.

Dis, dissed, dis song, etc....
I don't think that there's been another word that has come close to
dethroning this slang word for "disrespect". Nas
popularized "ether", though...
