"trump (drumpf) is the beyonce of politics"

and I would possibly vote for him IF he was honest.

the good in trump is that he is an organizer. he knows how to fix issues. he sees a problem and knows how to get a solution for it. but the solution isn't him, its his organizing of people who are qualified to fix the issue. if he would just admit that he is a good leader because he knows how to put the right people in place instead of acting like he know everything himself, I could respect him more. But he wont be honest. and he is a socialite. which means he has to be seen and heard everyday. and the media is feeding into his addiction to limelight. I blame media and Donald really. because he needs his fix and they give it to him.

why, because he is a white male. when ben carson said muslims were radicals and generalized it, we quickly told him that was wrong. when Donald, a white man who is rich says it, all these people rally behind it and try to clean it up. and because he is a socialite, he is loving all the attention.to the people that see the good in Donald, like me, but deny his flaws to the point they want to see him elected (not like me) I say, please look at the truth. this man is not fit to be president. he is fit to stir things up.

my fear is when he is not elected there will still be an aftermath because our regular Donald trump fix will be over and then what will we have? business as usual. I used to watch conspiracy theory videos and think, that wont happen here. martial law wont happen here...but now I see where it is possible extreme people on both sides could be used to voicing their opinion and it be rationalized and then there will be a lull and people will want to scratch that itch again. my fear is what will happen when Donald trump doesn't win. more than what will happen if he wins.

oh and to the beyhive

you might not understand this but sometimes beyonce has a song that comes out and I don't like it, and I think no one is gonna like this. but then its played every three or 4 minutes and eventually it grows on you.

that's the reason for my post title. in no way do I feel beyonce supports trump.

I'm just making the comparison for the reason of how media and oversaturation can benefit the person putting it out there. because if you validate things by giving it play, it makes people think, why don't I like this, ,maybe I should? which is something I equate to beyonces music. but truthfully. I do not dislike her, as I do not dislike trump. I think both can be dangerous, but of course I think the presidency is way more dangerous if in the hands of a socialite.
... Oh, and i sing too!

You should watch the video in that link from Rachel Maddow. About how trump is purposely going around to cities with racial strife between black people and the police and then revving up the hatred and strife.

There's no good in a person like that. The pope has rabid fans and he and Beyoncé and Justin Beiber are nothing like Trump, no matter what your thoughts are.

The dude is literally taking Third Reich redux to a new era.

He was born rich, and would be richer if he parked his daddy's money in a mutual fund rather than invest it or try to grow his fathers business.

I had a super smart friend who worked for him for a few years, she said dude's a sociopath.

I just don't understand anyone seeing anything redeemable about this dude.

Whether you want to admit or not Trump employs a lot of people at his casinos and hotels.

Sure he has bankruptices but he damn sure employs more people doing it that way vs just dumping his money in a fund.

and I think anytime you try to start a business you are taking a risk.

I hate defending Trump, I was simply speaking on mutual vs business/failed business

By better investing his family inheritance, even more jobs could have been created.

And don't fall for that rich people Job creators bullshit. That's Mitt Romney Trickle down economics spin.

People buying shit creates jobs. I'll let other folks better explain.

http://www.businessinsider.com/rich-people-create-jobs-2013-11

And What has Trump been selling for the last 40 years? New York Real Estate. Something with almost limitless demand for. It's like the Chris Rock crack job, ain't nobody sitting around talking about "how am I going to unload all this New York Real Estate?

All that to say, I am not terribly impressed with Trump as a business person. He was born wealthy into a family that was trading in the hottest commodity for the last 50 years. It'd be hard not to do well in it.

Let me put it one more way, do I think Donald Trump is a better businessman than my Uncle Gus who was two generations removed from slavery and opened a bunch of barbershops in Richmond and own property as black man in the South when that shit can get you lynched eventhough my Uncle Gus didn't see a fraction of the wealth Donald Trump as made, fuck no in my opinion.

jobs than Trump.

I am not even trying to argue that D Trump isn't a successful business person.

I am skeptical of this notion that Donald Trump is a job creator though.

People use the term Job Creation synonymously with higher people. They are not the same. The easiest way to explain it is if a Wal-Mart comes to your town and hires 35 people but the presence of Wal-Mart shuts down 10 mom and pops that employed 50 people, did Wal-Mart create jobs in your town? No, They actually resulted in a net loss of jobs.

When Job reports come out and say that the economy added 150,000 new jobs that means that demand grew enough that employers had to hire 150,000 new workers to meet that demand.

All that to say I am skeptical that Donald Trump has created that many jobs.

He may be on a Wal-Mart level...I really don't know.

but I'm also not one to get into the definition of job creation. If you start a biz and hire people I will acknowledge it as such. I'm not going to call someone a phony or a job killer unless I see proof they downsized and fucked people over.

The phrase too often thrown out there as if the main goal of businesses and capitalists is to create jobs. Hiring people is more of a necessity than some act of benevolence, and it's much more based on consumer demand of their product/service than the business owners' desire to provide employment.

a person starts a business and hired people. That's it... that's all.

Other people will also try to start a business and compete for market shares.

Some succeed, most fail... but at least they tried.

I don't care how much money you have, if you try to start a biz and hire people you are creating jobs. I know a few people who tried and most failed but they still took a risk and tried.

I know Trump was given a shit load of money but he coulda sat on his ass vs trying to be a mogul.

Now it looks like I'm defending Trump... smh

If he didn't make his inheritance perform beyong a mutual fund, then how can you say he is a great businessperson?

In other words, he had the type of wealth that makes it hard to fail (or easy to succeed).

I said he took risk creating businesses vs just throwing it in a mutual fund.

The news media version of the 'beyonce song playing 3 times in a row, until u start to like it', is what makes u believe drumpf is a leader and 'knows how to fix issues'.

He's a liar, opportunist, and none of what he wants u to believe is really true

I have no interest in supporting trump financially or politically. I just find this whole thing interesting. I believe he could convince his followers that the sky isn't blue.

trump ain't even hiding his feelings and that ain't nothing like Beyonce. i'm not even big on Beyonce like that, but that is a unsult to her and she deserves better than that
and please don't compare those two.

the only thing they got in common is that they are about that money and being seen, but aside from that, they have zero in common

What is Trump's (business) net worth vs his siblings?
I guess they didn't park their inheritance in the right mutual fund because neither of them are Billionaires.

apologies to Godleeluv, shoulda gave her more room to flesh her thoughts out but it's hard when she cliams she sees the good in Trump. Maybe we misread what she was really trying to say.

the good = good at bamboozling people?

still disagree with you guys on the job creation. The way OKP talks about business you would think everyone on here would own one since it's so easy to do.

In response to Reply # 44

1) it has almost nothing to do with their policies, but job situations got a lot better under non-business types like clinton and obama than the bushes. we're still on the wave from the past few years, but it will be interesting to see the ripples once we get domestic policies in place.

2) the heads of the companies that actually are growing in america keep writing letters and trying to figure out trump because they know it's not supply side economics that will determine the future of their businesses (and the associated jobs), but other government policies and investments. they know the congress and trump are pro-"job creators", so they could sit back and reap the benefits, but they're also smart enough to know that getting richer won't do shit for tesla or space-x or the internets. another billion in zuckerberg's account isn't going to do as much good (even for zuckerberg!) as putting that money into NIH research that's already in the pipeline.

His administration has been pretty much the opposite of what the OP said it would be. And for the life of me, I just can't understand why anyone thought it would be otherwise.

Folks get twisted up in the idea that the government should be run like a business. And since he's rich, he must be a good business man. Neither of these statements are anywhere near the truth.

the stuff about him being a great organizer and that he knows how to put the right people in the right places, or that he knows how "fix problems" all sound even more absurd now than they did then.

the stuff about how he benefits, and was validated/legitimized from media oversaturation... that he's a socialite, addicted to the limelight, and the media constantly fed that.. or that his role was never fit to be president but to stir up the status quo... yeah.. all accurate. esp considering when this post was made.

and I always thought he would make a terrible president. There is literally nothing good about him. He's pathological liar, a sociopath, a con artist, he's dumb and he's crazy. I am still confident he will get impeached, at least I really hope so.
