And Jupiter Ascending, and I realize I'm the only person on this entire board who ever defends this movie, is at bare minimum also bold and imaginative-- even people who hated the movie (everyone other than me) are likely to concede this fact.
They may well be the most audacious, imaginative, and surprising big-budget filmmakers alive.

There’s absolutely nothing good about that movie.
The visuals are good but that makes them that much more of a waste. Other than that? The story is trash. The acting is trash. The characters are trash.
It’s a monumental atrocity of filmaking and nobody in their right mind should fund anything those two do ever again that isn’t a Matrix sequel or reiteration. They clearly can’t be trusted.
People- sorry Frank!- are really just fans of the Wachowskis and are giving them a pass. Slap a different name on this and they don’t get a word of the leeway they do get from a small handful of supporters.
