"The Club? (that thing for your car's steering wheel)"
My neighbor has been using one years, and he just got a new card and put it on that car too. His car won't start without the FOB and I'm pretty sure its way harder to hot wire than an old school car.

if they want your car, they're gonna take your car. thieves roll up w/ the flatbed and just snatch that motherfucker now.
club for what? I'm more afraid they're going to cut off the catalytic converter, or take the rims and leave it on blocks, or smash a window for something inside that costs less than the damn window.
I've got insurance, if they take the car I can get a new one.
^^in that respect, it kinda makes sense for people using the club on older/shittier cars they probably don't have comprehensive insurance for and might not be able to afford to replace.
I think some would argue that if a scoundrel looks in your car and sees the club, that they'd just move on to the next car withput one and not even waste time trying to cut it, break it, saw it or whatever.
Back when they were in vogue I heard you could freeze them with freon then shatter the lock with a hammer. Or, like an above poster said, cut through the steering wheel.

Actually GM products used to be painfully easy to steal. You could literally steal a Geo in 5 seconds with a hammer and screwdriver. The Tracker and Prism used to be high on the most stolen list.

my car. I'd get a bigger check from the insurance company to buy a new one. They're likely doing you a favor. It's flat out not even worth the hassle of taking it off and putting it back on everytime I want to drive.
