Though I will say I was catching the holy ghost listening to EWF in the car on the commute to work. "Devotion" and "The Way of the World" had me spontaneously waving my arms back and forth to the rhythm. Probably not smart to do while I was driving.

I'm well, trying to stay awake at the new job I wore a panthers t-shirt today (my son's) coworkers applauded me I told them I felt like my life was in danger if I didn't lol
so far so good....everybody cool (lest, some of the sisters... I hate that...smh) I like it it's easy very close to home

today is payday for the kids allowance money I woke up with a note slide under my door "Don't forget to pay us!" lol

told my wife i'd buy her one if they win. i'm really hoping they do their thing. the panther-poohs (as my youngest daughter calls them -- she 14, but she clinging to baby girl status for as long as she can) got to pull it out.

good deal. my job going well. was very anxious about getting / being up to speed on a 'new' competency. some of that anxiety is real. some of it is just me, i guess. but things have been going pretty well lately.

So I delivered the strategy presentation for our department yesterday and will be thrown on more projects. It's good to experience, but if it's not coming with more money in the near future I'm soon to be elsewhere. Speaking of money, taxes, YUCK. We put those W2s together and watching that TurboTax counter head the wrong way is just one of those gut punches.

hrm. don't be too hasty. i guess it's dependent upon your particular corporate culture but in my experience, the expertise and workload recognition come well before getting that love in the paycheck. if you got a short term need (or ability to get it elsewhere like that), go head and rock, but if there's no pressing reason to bounce, at least get that experience under your belt. use that time period between when you start doing N + 1 work and when you start getting N + 1 paper to consolidate your experience, and get some legit project references you can put on your cv. especially if the spot you're at has a good reputation. kinda like forced appreciation in real estate. go head and put in that new marble in the kitchen before you sell the crib, nahmean?

yo. i feel for you. we still got a refund, but it is getting smaller and smaller. now with 2.5 kids out of the house, it's gonna be a downward trend. i adjusted my witholdings for next year so i don't get caught out there.

there or involved. (that would have to suck to have been an inspector and then have something like this happen on your watch).
i didn't realize that this was a luxury condo being built. well, there is such a terrible homelessness problem for millionaires and billionaires. glad they're finally doing something about it.

not mad that it was Peyton. at least it wasn't last year's shit. want Cam to go back and be the neo-Cosbyberger minus dem 'ludes. that is to say, the Panthers under Cam better be in the conversation every year.
speaking of Cosbyberger, AFC needs to have a lot of new blood ASAP. if it ain't the Steelers, it's the team Pey-Pey is playing on, or the Cheaters. and now we gonna be w/o Pey-Pey.
Eagles gonna suck for a LONG time. I can feel it. I don't even want to watch. hoping RG3 comes to CLE (where he should have been in the first place) so Hue can start multi-tiered madness.
had to get on a call, trying NOT to cuss someone out earlier this morning. bummed over the loss of Maurice White. had the "All About Love" (Larry Dunn) interlude on repeat on the way to work today.
