"Is there an age limit on wearing actual high school letterman jackets?" Fri Jan-29-16 03:32 PM by normal35762
Not the blank ones or ones made by fashion labels. Personal high school letterman jackets.
For those who have one you still rock it?
Inspired by a rival high school game last night and people who I knew who went to the game. Which had me think about the time in '92 or '93 I saw a dude walking the streets near my school with a '78 letterman jacket. At the time I was like ok that's kinda back in the days but ok he representing. A few years later in college I thought about that day and was like awwww hell nah I'd never rock that shit past sophmore year in college.
I mean if you are being honored or are being inducted into the hall of fame at your high school cool.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

I knew a dude who rocked shoes, socks or wrist bands that always had his HS jersey number on them.
5 years after HS he would still put his number on his new kicks.
He wasn't even that good.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

someone back home thought it would be a good idea to have a full contact football game between 2 rival football powerhouses...
but with the OLD HEADS from yesteryears on some Al Bundy shit.
full pads, refs, alladat..
man, dude told me guys were playing for 2 or 3 plays and tapping out...
walking off the field like "WTF was I thinking?"

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

...if he chooses the pledge.
Other than that there's no way I'd wear it. I do have a letterman style frat jacket with just the letters and a crest on the sleeve. I wear that still, but not the windbreaker.
In college we used to clown old heads who tried to still hang out and wear the windbreaker waaay past graduation.
The worst offender was this dude who pledged grad chapter, had a college style windbreaker made, and rolled into college parties and stepshows...after getting off work in his corporate gig.

I lettered in two sports but I never wasted my money on that shit. The letters are in a box somewhere with a pile of other crap I will never look at again. But a lot of guys on our football team had them and when I came back home after college and saw them wearing that shit I would SMH. I mean, if you're at the game, fine, you can be 60 and still wear it. But if you still tryna ride that thunder, I feel bad for you, son.
And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
