I'm pissed that I only copped one pair when I got these too. They were on sale, in DTLR, for way less than $100. I believe I copped for like $59.99. Prolly the best pair that I've ever owned too.

I want my next pair of boot to be Gore-Tex for the waterproofing & breathable aspects, but I'm scared if investing and having them start leaking after a year or two. I hike and ride bikes in the rain, so I need something to keep me dry.
I wore them last weekend while shoveling up all that snow we got. My feet didn't feel a drop of water.
Like I said in my edited response. These are the best pair of boots that I have ever owned. I just wish I had a pair to brave the elements in and another pair to wear when I'm on my preppy shit.

This always bothered me too. When I wore them I knew they looked cooler unlaced or loosely laced...but that was totally impractical if you actually needed to walk somewhere.

There are some days I wish I could rock those grade school sizes, lol. I would literally buy shoes every other day. And them hoes don't sell out as quickly.

I still have two pairs of winter boots that I have not worn in almost ten years but I keep em in case I have a last-second trip to somewhere where it's snowing. When you have 1500 pairs of shoes, a lot of them fade into the mix.
I don't have any 6" though. I regret selling my China blue, brick red and penguin grey ones though, those were all beautiful colors that they won't make again. I had a shitload at one point like between 98 and 02 I had quite a few 6" and Chukkas. Chukkas I might consider rocking today but the 6" days are over.
