Man, his legacy is not ruined. It's not like in the latter half of his career, he jumped on the music trends of the day and started making music he didn't believe in just to get paid or whatever. Anything that happened regarding his music since his death doesn't necessarily count toward what he released during his lifetime. Therefore, it doesn't tarnish his legacy.
I for one am not mad at his moms. If I was a famous producer who died before my moms and didn't have a wife, I'd want mama to eat off of my material. Moms deserves to get taken care of. I wouldn't give a damn about what some hardcore fans wanna gripe about as long as my kids and mama are eating.

Somebody here knew somebody that bought jackleg Dilla stuff from somebody in Detroit that was trying to come up, and I asked him why was he on here threatening people after Ma Dukes allegedly told him to "let the wolves out" instead of shutting down the bootleggers. He never answered after multiple inquiries so I decided a) he wasn't shit b) it was time to go in on his ass for the dumb shit he was saying in general and c) he wasn't shit.

but it snot for any of Dillas friends or peoples to get in the way of what she wants to do. Even if they are on the right side of the argument with the best intentions....getting into "beefs" with his moms isn't the move. They should just keep quiet, don't participate in the things they don't feel are doing his legacy justice or bite the bullet and help out.
I agree with what a lot of the complaints are but I wouldnt let them handle it either.

Mine is wonderful, so, as stated earlier, if I was single, moms gets full rights to my stuff and if it can make money for her, so be it. Moms sacrificed for my sister and me when we were kids and was quick to go without before us. ...than my moms making money off of my legacy. I wouldn't be around, so it would no longer be a big deal to me about my legacy. Especially if what moms is selling is keeping her fed.
