Read A Book: Questlove's Love Of Food At The Center Of His Forthcoming Book

I suppose if you know anything about Questlove, it’s that on top of juggling every job in the book and having one of the sturdiest night gigs in the game, he’s also something of a foodie. It’s been well documented via Instagram and various segments on The Tonight Show as their resident expert in culinary graces. But today we’ve learned that next April, Questo will be releasing his third book Something to Food About: Exploring Creativity with America’s Most Innovative Chefs, a marked shift from exploring the roots and cultural impact of Soul Train (book #2) and tracking his own trajectory as a life lived through hip-hop (book #1.) The new piece will likely build off some of his closer relationships in the culinary world, exploring the nuances and intricacies of an art as old as time, and how gathering around the table has always been something of a ritual in The Roots camp, even enticing others to come record with them on the promise of a good meal alone. Something to Food About: Exploring Creativity with America’s Most Innovative Chefs is due on April 16th, 2016 and is available to preorder now on Amazon.
