WAT

Lady Gaga really sold over 80 million albums jacking another artist's swag to the point said artist killed themselves.

Shout to to William for selling out. Remember when he was doing freestyles at 3 AM on MTV2 trying to get on. Now look at him selling out and getting them checks recognized as a global icon.

My picks:

Michael Jackson because fuck your favorite white idol.

Celine Dion got hits.

As a member of the Church of Yeezus Christ and All Day Saints I have to roll with the GAWD.

My gut tells me Hov, while my soul says Janet, but my brain says Backstreet Boys.

*PAUSE* Rhianna sold 100 million records? Yeah, Hov responsible and y'all call him a failure.

Bruno Mars sold 80 million records? WAT. *googles* Apparently his struggle soliloquies are lowkey hits.

I'm going with Santana because he's a true artist. Dare I say he's in the Prince mold?

I pick Robbie Williams because his history of legendary stunting is remarkable. He was on some Mario Balotelli shit before Mario Balotelli.

I wasn't that hip to them during their heyday. I more discovered them past 5 years or so and absolutely love them now.

That category was the strongest imo though. Nirvana, Depeche Mode, Bob Marley, Tupac, Aretha.....

I was kinda shocked to see Rhianna so high. Especially in light of the fact that her career coincides with the sharp decline in record sales across the board. I really like some of her tunes....didn't realize she was THAT big.

Also surprised to see the horrible representation of country music. The cream certainly doesn't rise to the top in that regard. Would have thought we'd see Hank Williams or Willie Nelson or Dolly Parton up there somewhere. Nope. Garth Brooks and Shania Twain.

Kinda surprised David Bowie wasn't up there. Has Green DAy really sold more records than David Bowie? Weird.
