I kinda missed out on summer totally because of of the job school job situation.

by the time Afro Punk came up I was so tired of everything I just chilled at home and was happy to do nothing for once.

as a still new resident of the city I'm still figuring it out here. what are some Fall/Autumn to-do's that come up?

Any concert series to be up on? Film series?

I'm trying to balance the life out a bit.

I know that on labor day, okayafrica is doing something in williamsburg.

of course you have the west indian events the entire labor day weekend(panorama, Kids carnival, jouvert, and the parade).

The Brazillian Day parade runs labor day weekend. a few other cutural parades run throughout the fall. I think that the Nigerian Day Parade is in October.

Obviously, the greenwich village Halloween parade.

freen movies viewings at Habana Outpost in BK until Halloween.

Atlantic Antic and Brooklyn Book Fair are in Brooklyn.


I'm actually in town until next week, feeling hella(yeah they got me) nostalgic. been roaming around Franklin ave alot.
