Mentally, I think I associate those old school smells with being fresh and clean. This puts me at odds with the wife when it comes to buying cleaning supplies and toiletries. If she does the shopping she comes back with all the latest scented stuff; lavender, linen, lemon/ginger...etc.
I come home from shopping like it's 1970...gallon of bleach, box of Borax...
Not shampoo though. Must go through at least one full day without shampoo. That shit is so erotic to me....and it's like a comfort smell. It's like revisiting the womb.
