"would martin lawrence be worth seeing?"

i saw that he was touring again but i have reservations. what was with all the weird behavior in the 90's? read his wiki, but it seems like just random acts of crazy. anyway, i liked the special with the black leather getup and the def comedy jam hosting gigs.

he's one of my favorite people in comedy so i'd still give him another chance to see where he's at now.

I've seen him on. I genuinely like Martin. I always root for him to do well.

The Martin style hasn't aged well.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

he just seems dry sometimes.

Maybe because he's such a good comedic actor, i never really gave his stand up a real chance.

Maybe i need to go rewatch some of his specials.

I never considered going to see him live. I would put him in the file "comics i'd see for free and for free only" personally

I don't remember too much from the show anymore... I think if it was a different, lesser name comedian, I would have been disappointed... But I was really hyped to see him live... Loved his show growing up, and the stand up with him in an all leather get up......
