There's a new Colonel in town.
Norm Macdonald has taken over the role of Colonel Sanders, replacing his fellow Saturday Night Live alum Darrell Hammond, who started appearing in KFC commercials in May. The ads play off the fact that Macdonald is the new face, with his Colonel Sanders decrying imposters from Hollywood pretending to be him.
"Other than not quite looking like him, his voice being different and his inability to cook the world’s best chicken, we thought Norm was the perfect choice to play the Real Colonel. I think the fans will agree," said Kevin Hochman, chief marketing officer KFC US.

And it intimated that he was a known racist and the rumors of him giving money to the kkk. Plus there was a rumor he stole the early chicken recipe from a black woman.
But then again he came along a time when that was widely acceptable behavior, but it still left me not liking him at all.
