Bethe is a better striker, but she's a volume puncher who hasn't shown a ton of punching power...like a female Bisping or Nick Diaz. Since Ronda isn't really in danger of getting knocked out I can't see how Correia can win.
Actually, the only female fighters with serious knockout power are Cyborg and Holly Holm.

Ronda's hands help setup the liver shot knee KO over Sara McMann if I'm remembering the opponent's name properly.
In Bethe's last fight, she was losing the first round against a far inferior opponent compared to Ronda. I suppose there's a chance Bethe's hands could be better at this point, but I can't see her suddenly getting KO power so quickly.

Ronda's division is so thin and no competitor really has a chance. The UFC promo is doing a great job of making Bethe seem like she could be the one but I don't think it will be close.
Bethe is 9-0, yes, but her UFC opponents have a combined record of 1-7. Meaning only ONE of the girls she's beat in UFC thus far has a win.
I don't think even the UFC believes Bethe has a chance; they've already announced Miesha Tate as Ronda's next opponent after Bethe. Ronda's beaten Tate twice already and Tate is STILL arguably Ronda's best challenge
IMO it's all hype.

On average, how many years of PROFESSIONAL training has Rousey's opponents had?
Floyd Mayweather has been a PROFESSIONAL CHAMPION for nearly 20 years 20 years in a row this man has not been beat ppl have been training for 15 years and can still not beat him
Rousey has had 12 fights and only two fights have lasted longer than 75 seconds even when Iron Mike was knocking ppl out he had fights that lasted longer than that.
There is no such thing as Womens MMA there is Ronda Rousey + a bunch of other sparring partners Even if Rousey's 12 opponents were to fight each other those fights would not be very enterraining.
But if you take 6 of the ppl Mayweather beat and put them to fight each other you will have EPIC battles

UFC Bantamweight division is pretty weak. Strawweight has a good amount of talent though.
Pretty much the same deal in Invicta, but they are just sending the best they have to the UFC.
Some of these women still aren't even training with pro fighters. They are still training with average joes from day to day. It's hard to get better under those circumstances, but I doubt many of them can afford it.

I'm talking about the pipe dream Dana and them kept trying to sell that Rousey and Carano were ever going to fight. They dangled that carrot for a long time, and finally Carano had to dead that it was ever going to happen.

Kyra hasn't been active competitively in a while. In MMA, Ronda smashes her 5 out of 5 times.
There's other, better female challengers out there for Ronda if you're talking strictly grappling.
