one time in HS I had this old lady hit on me. Im talking 50's. I was 16 working at my first job making pretzels in the mall. She came up with her daughter asking for the manager because her daughter wanted to turn in a job application. Her daughter was college age. I told them I was in charge but didnt make any hiring decisions but would pass the application along to my boss. Daughter was like cool mom lets go. Mom was like so have you been here long I've never seen you before? Leaning over the counter and smiling all flirty like. I was like ummm yeah a year or so. Oh wow I would have remembered you. At that point I was like WTF! Then she asked if I was full time. I said nah part time I go to school. Which college do you go to? Chaffey? Cal Poly? One is a JC the other is a 4 year. I was like nah Montclair High. She was like OH YOURE IN HIGH SCHOOL?! So she starts talking to me about graduation. I was like this horny ass woman. I was like nah Im a junior. Daughter jumps in and says mom that is gross and walks away. Mom follows her. I just sat there processing what the fuck just happened.

And then my hating ass dad comes over and says "you know yall are practically cousins"
the woman walked away and my dad told me he was sorry but he couldnt let me get after her because he always had a thing for her. He was prolly 50 at the time.

at a girl that you saw grow up?
For example
My boys sister is about 7 years younger than me..so when i was hanging with him at 21 she was like 13-14. Fast forward to me being 30 and she's 23 I guess, one of my boys was like yo who is that, she look good. I'm like dude she like 17, 18. I honestly thought she was that age not realizing our age difference and that she had grown up lol
Another example is a little sister of a girl i used to talk to back in the days. Age difference is like 8 years here. She was always this chunky girl with a baby face. I ran into her on the street and my boys were talking about her after she left and I didn't even realize that her body changed as she got older bc i still see her as that little girl. I told my wife later and shewas like of course they said something _______'s body is looking AAIGHT. I was like i had no idea lol.

was a girl who's maybe seven years younger than us. So even when I'm 21 and in college, she's just a little 14 year old...she forever feels young.
Last week, he said he saw a Cadillac pull up in front of his house to park. He looks, and sees they roll the window down...he's suspicious, but the car looks exactly like our homeboy Davin's car. Davin is 31, same year as me from HS. My boy walks up, and Davin ass rolls the window down smiling...and says "what up...I'm here to pick up (the girl who lives next to you, who's seven years younger than me!) We're about to go to the motel around the corner!"
Granted, she is 23 years old now, so it's nothing at all wrong with it. But still!!!!

I grew up in the burbs. I know a lot of people here live/grew up in the city. I asked my wife and sister inlaw about this last night and they both said it wasnt until late in HS that they noticed men taking notice. Same thing with the street holla's. I've never noticed men acting that aggressive in my life. I asked a few different women I knew about the street holla thing and they said it is maybe once a week. But not over the top or anywhere close to the video. But then we are also a car culture out here. So you are walking miles a day.

I grew up in the burbs in middle America no issues. No hollas.
Actually I had to think about it guys would drive by in hs when we were running and say stuff. I never felt targeted though or like it was directed towards me. But that was age 12 and up running with 13-18yos.
We would run in the city tho. In the burb I lived in everyone knew everyone. One hs, one jr high. So you couldn't hollar at a group of girls without someone knowing someone who knows you. So it never happened in out burb.
New York is just like the video but most women prob spend 10-30 minutes a day walking so it's not like 20 guys a day like in the video. Maybe 2-5 per day in that 10-30 minutes.

Me and this chick I worked with at Hardee's were at a corner store in our neighborhood once. These cats at the store had just copped their Colt45 40's, saw her, and started in on her with the full court press. They had to be about 50+ years old each and were trying their best to holler at her.
She was 16 years old. Her body hadn't even matured yet and she looked even younger than she was. Didn't matter, them niggas were finna get them a "young tender" no matter what.

Was walking towards the corner where my mom would pick me up after school and a car full of dudes rolled up beside me. They actually cut me off at the corner and the guy in the passenger seat said "damn you fine" and opened his door as if he wanted me to hop in.
I kind of froze and they just drove off. Nothing bad happened but pretty scary at the time.
i was walking by my job in chelsea behind these teenage girls who werent even tryong to be cute or attractive, watched every males reaction as the girls walked by - some just turning heads, some comments to each other, some comments out loud. The girls were either oblivious or just ignored. Sucks that theyve had to learn that at such a young age.
Im not stressed about my daughter eventually having a boyfriend, but im stressed that in 11-12 years im gonna hear some dumbfuck saying or doing some wrong shit when im with her and its going to be a problem
