**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

Ain't ever been to Cali or had interest in going until I saw the King Kunta video. Bangers like that and this one make me wonder how or why the West coast ever fell off. The music just always seemed to be about grooving and having a damned good time.
Now, I'm looking up hotels so me and the lady can come out that way to kick it for a few days.

our sound got washed out of the mainstream in 97, but from 97-2001, we had a LOT of local, homegrown bangers that actually get more love here than the 93-96 classics that everyone knows. Y u bullshittin, We can freak it, I'd rather give you my bitch, Backyard boogie, I luv it, G'd up, Wrong Idea, etc etc, they ALL go way harder than Gin n juice or anything from Chronic if you're at a club.
So it's wild to see this same sound essentially coming back and working now.

Taking songs from the 90's that were samples/interpolations, and now putting a 2015 "Mustardized" twist to them. This same project has a song that flips "Deez nutz"
