^ are you aware of any science that backs up a claim that a person tested positive for THC not b/c they smoked but b/c they were in a car w/ppl who smoked?
i've heard this excuse offered and it seems like bullshit. but if there's support for it i'd love to see it b/c it'd be pretty useful.

apparently the thc levels obtained through a contact high aren't high enough to break the threshold of a failed screening. at least from what i've been told/heard.

it depends on the standards of the lab like some labs only test for a certain level of THC but many employers are asking for more stringent testing so the permissible amount of THC allowed can be lower than the lab's normal standard. I remember this from when I was screened almost 2 years ago.
Granted you would have to be stuck in a hotbox to inhale that much THC but depending on who's doing the testing, it might just be enough to come back with an "inconclusive" result which opens you up to further testing.
The real danger lies in the levels of THC your potential employer finds permissible. My employer's levels were even lower than the lab they contracted to do the testing.

but the main problem is the ventilation. even w/the windows up a car is ventilated. the study had the folks in an unventilated enclosed space.
so far there's not been anything tendered which supports the bullshit excuse. at least nothing i'd show to any actual authority figure to prove up the 'i was in a car w/ppl who were smoking' story to explain a poz THC test result.

even my barbadian fam that was smokin that reggie was using like 1-2 grams in a blunt.
there was a time in college where we'd try and roll the biggest ones we could, using a bunch of wraps together. we did some 10 geezers and half zone ones, but that was just because we had a ton of herb and wanted to show off. most of the time we'd have like 8-10 heads on it and still struggle to finish those.
