you're following someone with a camera that's obviously there trying to draw attention to themselves is going to cause a problem like this. The camera was definitely a catalyst, and I think they knew this would be the case. Try it again without the mask and sexual gyrating and a hidden camera and see if it plays out this way.

I looked at that part several times, she wasn't old, I'd give her late 20's to early 30's. I'm wondering if there's any attempt being made to find her and press assault and battery charges.

thing is, without all the sexual innuendo and the mask, many trans just blend into the crowd. There's a lot out here (especially hispanic transfolks) and some of them are so passable that unless you knew they were trans in the first place you wouldn't ever bat an eyelash. I think transmen have a much easier time blending in pre-op thanks to their facial hair and other features over transwomen.

But this made me reexamine my position.

The mirrored mask spoke volumes to me, because it was able to reflect these people's base nature, even if they weren't willing to examine it.

And it made me think back to the installation where Marina Abramovic sat and made eye contact with people for performance art. I scoffed. After this, I thought about my own discomfort with eye contact. It occurred to me I only do it with anybody when I have a specific message to send or receive. It's how I talk to people I play music with, how I beam inside jokes to my closest people, how I read emotions, etc. Anybody making silent eye contact with me for no specific reason upsets my lizard brain because I'm expecting a message. It's uncomfortable. And then I realized that installation taught me somethin. And I got mad cause performance art is valid and I have been wrong this whole time.
