The 'Kardashians are famous for nothing' meme has been stale for about 5 years now. Catch up. They are TV stars now. They are famous for being on TV at the very least.
but still, at this point whining about them being 'famous for nothing' is moot b/c now they're @ least famous for being on their TV show which has run for several seasons. kinda like dozens/hundreds of other men and women who are famous for being on TV.

It just genuinely surprises me that people still find them interesting enough to talk about so frequently. The global conversation could've been over at "Hey, these sisters are fucking pretty. People should put nice clothes on them and take pictures for adverts and shit. Adverts will look awesome."
It's not the Kardashians' fault that their sort of culturally void fame is flavour of the decade... it's all of ours for letting it happen. They're just a perfectly natural reflection of our dropping cultural standards.
