Because I have at least 30 passwords I'm trying to juggle and I'm struggling. I tried that password generating program but I couldn't get it to work correctly.


Please Alan: Fix My Life

But not on others.
I feel I read an article that said the various rules are making passwords less secure.
My office recently had a change where we had to have a 15 character password, I created a 27 character one that overloaded some of the forms; but I needed a sentence I could remember.

you could do something like:

first 3 letters of domain name
+
constant word, number, symbol
+
capital last letter of domain name

okp: okaboxing45%R
chase bank: chaboxing45%E
dropbox: droboxing45%X


so you only need to remember one formula, but you never really have the same password for multiple sites

A few questions


How do you deal with caps/lowercase
Is there a special character that tends to be universal
Do you keep these written

However they wold all hinge on some central formulaic theme or something so that any one in particular could be deduced.

I use last pass for chrome.

And I do odd cap and numer combos with little rhyme of reason.

But I also I have a notebook were I have them written down

Facebook, IG, Tumblr, both gmails, calstrs, loan places, Netflix, bank account, soundcloud, youtube

So much data just floating around.

So I'm tapping out.

My go to for the longest isn't sustainable anymore.
