one of my favorite movies of all time hate the ending. i feel like there should be a sequel. that's the only thing that will make that ending make sense for me. i don't like to be kept guessing. but i still love that movie.
also i still hate that people completely under acknowledge how Spike was talking about crack and using the interracial shit as diversion about what truly matters

funny you mentioned it. I just watched it with my wife this past weekend. It was her first time seeing it. My first time in years. She enjoyed it and I like it. One of my favorite Nolan movies. It seems he forgot how to keep his movies to a decent runtime after this.

Hated the "Robin" thing - came off like Nolan literally walked in front of the camera and winked to the whole crowd saying "Get it? Get it?"
Also didn't like that we had 3 movies where being Batman was portrayed as a curse preventing Bruce Wayne from moving on with his life so I don't understand why ge passes the mantle to JGL and curses him to the same destiny.
Him turning the mansion into an orphanage came off like he's stockpiling angry future Batmans too.
Finally, as with most the cafe scene didn't work for me.

It would have been a "sad" ending, but IMO, it would have been true to the story. Everything that happened after that was Spielberg trying to have a happy ending and it disappointed me.

I didn't get the closure I wanted in terms of the writers delineating, at a deeper level, the loose kindred-spirit-like nature of the relationship between Kusanagi and the Puppetmaster which they clearly hinted at during the crescendo of the film. Its still dope as hell and in my top 10 anime's but dem ninjaz half-stepped on that ending.
-Next Day Air- Very entertaining film but that ending could've also closed some shit up a little better.
