At home we get into these YouTube holes and I don't know how we ended up on this video last night but I'm sure it's the first time either of us had seen it. Within seconds we asked each other "was Al B Sure gay?"

A quick Google search pointed is in the direction that, no he wasn't/isn't, and that most of that questioning came from the release of the video which was choreographed.

Now sexuality aside, he's "fierce" throughout this video (see 3:30 mark). For my older folks, was this ever a thing? Because I don't remember any of my uncles jamming like this.

well chistopher williams videos will really bug you out and he is straight as well.

and the intersting thing about Al Brown is that though you hear the Michael Jackson Influence he did say he was a johnny mathis fan and i can hear the faint tones of that on his thing and with his shrilling vibe which was hit and miss, however his debut album was tight and back in the day him and Keith Sweat had the battle of the tapes.

as a card carrying resident veteran here, i can attest that that nigga could do NO wrong when In Effect Mode came out.
