While you might think the performance was cliche.. it was incredibly subversive...
They were up there with a purpose. Choreographed parts and all that..
Plus having all those grime cats up there at a pretty uptight awards show was definitely an epic moment. These cats rarely get the shine they deserve so them being a part of something with one of the biggest artists in the world is saying something..
And considering his Adidas line is inspired by the London riots this is exactly in line with his current aesthetic..

Ye sounds like he's trying to reclaim that title of hottest rapper with this song. Hopefully the album is more of this and wolves instead of that McCarthy song (which sounds more like Rihanna's song to me).

I liked the rawness of the performance and the energy of the song. I think it was a big deal that he had some UK artists up there with him. I know the audience didn't know what the hell they were watching. Hell, I didn't know what I was watching....I just liked the whole 'fuck you' vibe being thrown up.
The track is hard and I can see it get plenty of muthafucka's charged up over the course of the year.
