even though there is no intention behind the photos being shared I think its super disappointing that folks are making a deal out of this, shes a gotdamn human being. no one is perfect

Gives the photoshop people more to work with, but it's not a look you'd actually walk down the street in because it'd look like your face was made out of dry plasterboard.
Beyonce looks perfectly normal in these pictures for someone with the best part of 3mm of foundation on.

the lighting is harsh as hell. Hot spots from hell.. ughhhh looks like bare bulb lighting. Inept ass photographer, they could be test shots but hell usually those are done ahead of time with an assistant.

It looks like photographers are more concerned with getting the right positioning and expression, knowing that they can fix hot spots, bad makeup, lighting...etc. in post production.
Problem is, there are a lot of awful Photoshop jockeys out there.

These have to be lighting test shots, no amount of Photoshop will fix those dead expressions and horrible lighting. Its easier for me to get it as close as possible in camera then tweak later if necessary. Though I suppose if you are shooting for a multimillion dollar ad campaign you got money to waste in post production..
