Funny how that part is ignored.

It's like the other okp said, inexperienced refs always get tried. Inexperienced refs that make obviously horrible calls have their competency questioned.

And let me beat you to the punch, experienced refs make equally bad calls also ( see: Joey porter tossing Tim Duncan)


Side note: this is a problem exclusive to the nba. The nba refs have the biggest egos of any of the professional leagues

Again, never implied AI would respond like pussy ass CP3. The issue I have is immediately saying his remarks were sexist. That's all. I'm not seeing it, personally. He's never reacted like this to the two other female refs that officiated in the league long before the ref at issue. Could it have been motivated by some amount of sexism? Sure, just not seeing how you can immediately run with that idea as if it definitely was. Especially considering the Clips had issues with her from a previous game. Seems like a combo of him being a dick, the clips being pissed they're on a cold streak, and her being a rook.

Criticizing her and saying it was a bad call is 100%.

Before any of this started I saw the quote last night and I read it as this might not be for her --this man's game.

Obviously regardless of the call shes worked her way up into the position. Becoming an NBA ref isnt easy. If he just wanted to question her call thats one thing, but to me it seemed pointed at her as a woman.

I wasn't agreeing with him not speaking, but damn. You can't say anything anymore about anything. I've flipped my view. I'm tired of having to watch my words. If he's said that in the past to the media, then I'm inclined to think it's not sexist.

However, if he hasn't lobbed those accusations publicly at a male ref, I absolutely would call it sexist. CP3 complains about refs all the time. I haven't seen him question if a male ref chose the wrong profession before. It's entirely possible I just missed him doing that... but until that evidence is presented, I lean toward sexist.

Why would it be? Players shit on male refs all of the time. Kobe called a ref a fag, tim tried to fight joey Crawford, and sheed has gotten physical with refs in the past. This is lame.
