Is this track considered the inspiration for MJ's "Man in the mirror", I've not read anything making this association though the songs are strikingly similar.

Michael put the call out that he was looking for a ballad and she looked through her notebook and found man in the mirror, and glen fine tuned it. In the Bad 25 documentary she didn't say she put it in the notebook after hearing James.
