Depends on the gun & if its directly onto skin or through clothes.

Yes years ago. Hurt like a mother! They held it long enough that I lost muscle control for a min or a lil less.

I caint say from experience, as I am not a robber or rapist. I can tell you that that shit dont feel good and unless the assailant is on PCP at the very least the device should buy you enough time to distract/escape.

Not partial to any particular brand. caught one at a liquor store in Hollywood for $35 dollars, it's camouflaged as something else, and it's pink but MAAAAAAAN

That shit stung/hurt. I used to 'check' my 9 volt batteries as a kid by putting them on my tongue. Imagine that feeling (if you ever did that shit) from head to toe and amplified X10. The effectiveness may depend on where you put the device (nutsack vs. thigh)
