seems alot of books dropped over the past few months, but what was the last one that truly caught your attention
and was moving you from start to finish?

It's ethnography, not memoir. It's still really great. I loved the audible version too.

for a fan like me, it was required reading

but for everyone else I think it's an engaging read, light on the "evangelism" and a good window into a dude's thought process. plus some eye opening accounts of his own life and others.

Dead on examination of the effects of death/grief.

Didion somehow treats death with a kind of Ninja intellectual coldness and distance that gets to the heart of the experience. Recommended.
