I mean... the super soulful backdrop of "Just Different"? Wow, ain't heard no new R&B sounding this good since I can't remember when. (well, R. Kelly's "Leg's Shakin" featuring Ludacris has the feel, but alotta people understandably don't fuck with him no more) This is PURE SOUL music. Speaking of Leg's Shakin, "Request" here has that kind of feel to it. Then we get to "Do Not Disturb" featuring Chris Brown. This is where I pretty much decided I was buying this album. Cmon man... what space did this album come out of? Straight up soulful R&B!!! The lush, haunting nature of that chorus with the multiple voices trading off one another is brilliance. This is how you arrange vocals, man. And yo, Fabolous KILLS that verse on "Broken Hearted Girl"... straight blessed her. Loving the reggae flavor of "Put Your Love On" All of her melodies and arrangements on here are just PERFECT. The rest of the songs are good to ok, but even they are playable and add to the album. She's put together a great album here. I haven't liked an entire R&B album this much since Miguel's last album.

When it comes to reviews of this album, I'm seeing that alotta people didn't realize Teyana's music had changed so much from the "Google Me" days and were pleasantly surprised by the new direction (even though she's been making really good R&B for years now).

I miss this type of gravy smooth r&b I like the phrasing of Request love the modernization of Ginuwine on Business It's a good project and I know her dancing ass is gonna sell the fuck out of them in the videos

Never heard her before until then. I feel like she can sing but she needs a producer to bring her range out instead of this airy thing she doing. Still a nice joint though
