Because I’m more empathizing with the parents and that community for their experience than anything That’s the dark I feel I think about those children pretty consistently Like a few times a week. And I worry about gun control and how no place is safe I have a niece that’s only four who’ll be in school school soon A sister who’s a high school teacher And my child who’s years away, but that date feels more ominous than anything else.

Along those lines...I have two close friends that both decided to home school their children years ago for reasons I just couldn't understand (we didn't have kids at the time)... As of late (past year or so)....I am getting a much clearer picture of why they chose the path they chose and lightweight wishing we'd followed suit....
