I am in my early 30s and moved back temporarily last year. I was away from 18 to 30ish.
Mom divorced twice and is on third husband. I say that to say that I did not grow up hearing such sounds growing up. She was single for half of my childhood. And I was typically knocked out during night time hours. I would not have heard shit. Previous childhood homes were bigger and better designed, too.
Mom is conservative and religious not that it means she can’t be normal and sexual. Neither her or stepdad are liberal or free-spirited so it’s not like I grew up in a open-minded home. Folks were prude, didn’t give the sex talk, etc.
I think if they were more “progressive,” I might be able to laugh this off.
I bet if I say something, they’ll make sure I never hear them again.

This was right after Hurricane Hugo, and my Big Momma had lost power, so she stayed with us until it came back on.
My parents gave her their room to sleep in (they slept on the sofa bed in the den), my room was right beside their room. Big Momma needed something, and was ringing the bell my moms gave her. I opened the door to the den to tell them and.....
The second time it happened, I don't remember how old I was. I just remember opening the door and my dad freaking out.
