i'm not tryna discount homie's potential (if hitherto undisplayed) ability, or even tryna compare the solo slice to chick corea. imjusayin', it doesn't fit to my ear.

rhythmically/electrically, '70s tjader is possible, as are zawinul and clare fischer. sh:t, if patrice rushen had recorded more than two pieces w/in this idiom, slimmie'd be a focus too.
